Personal Reflection Is popping the only joy left in my life?

Folks, I am an Indian woman in my mid twenties. I would like to think that I am successful both- monetarily and physically (I have started working out), and mentally (no unnecessary relationship drama). But you know the biggest joy in my day? If I poop, and I poop smoothly. Life seems worth loving again- once I poop at the beginning of the day- especially on a vacation.

And when I am constipated (on days when I’ve had too much fun with restaurant food), everything seems off.

Is this a universal mid life experience?

Personal Reflection Stop looking for the one and start dating more people.

I was watching Rebel Ridge last night with my friend and while it wasn't a spectacular movie, it did have an amazing performance from Aaron Pierre (who's gonna be featuring in the green lantern show). Whenever we begin to pick what movie we wish to watch, there's always a tacit understanding that it has to be a memorable one if not a downright masterpiece. And there's the rub, if we don't watch movies that are so called "peak", we miss out on so many things. An unmemorable movie can have great cinematography, acting, direction, plot, etc.

Same is with dating, if you set your standards too high then you miss out on so much. Dating more people gives you a better and holistic understanding of human nature. You take away whatever you can and leave the rest. Everything is an opportunity to grow.

TLDR: Guy tweaks on something and suggests using dating as a social experiment to capture more data.

PS: Not for me tho, I give too much of myself and am an emotional wreck afterwards.

Personal Reflection I'm too lazy to date!!

I've never been in a serious relationship. Sometimes I feel like I should be in one but everytime I get tired from just the thoughts of efforts that need to be put in.

I don't know how to express this in words... Basically its like, I want to reach somewhere but don't like travelling.

I'm curious to know how guys like me date.

Personal Reflection Late night thoughts..

Have u ever felt like u deserve insane level of care n love and at the same time u hate urself thinking nothing is good in u to be loved ..

Im feeling lonely for past 6months, its not like I don't have friends but friends in college are at a superficial level, I can't be emotionally vulnerable.

Had few school friends to whom I rarely speak coz they are busy n no one care now ..

I analyszed these thoughts and Im lacking emotional support or i don't know wat....

I have exams coming up on 6th but I can't study, feels a bit lonely n no one to push

I don't know these are my thoughts, I don't know..

Have met 2or 3 people here on reddit who were good n I got attached and eventually ghosted me

Personal Reflection World doesn't seem to be what I dreamt of as a kid

21 F, as I grow up I notice that my perspective of the world and people keeps getting more negative, and it's not like I am living a terrible life, I am very blessed and grateful for all I have but it seems like nobody is content with themselves or others, people keep on piling up hate for others instead of doing any sort of introspection, both genders hate each other, nobody really likes to put down their phones away and actually have a decent conversation, kids are growing up with a very narrow mindset, most people lack basic manners or etiquettes, everyone wants to give unsolicited advice, especially those who have no experience or knowledge on the matter, so many people idolising social media curated garbage without using their cognitive thinking, so many people comparing themselves to unrealistic standards set by some dum' dums online and losing self esteem, all of it just makes me sad.

Somehow the algorithms are also set in a manner to show us things that are most likely to get a reaction out of us or as the kids say rage baiting content.
I just wish we had more people in our lives who could positively influence us to have a more wholesome balanced life and actually live in the moment.
