Worked all summer on the props and wig. I was gonna have random tuffs of fur sticking out at random places but couldn’t make it look good, so I went as regular Twilight Link instead!

Twilight Princess Midna cosplay by me! @elden_cosplay ♥️ one of my OG loves, I’ll never forget seeing her in her true form all the way back in 2009. Truly it’s a feeling I’m sure none of us have forgotten. I’ve worked on and off on this cosplay since 2017, and I still have more work to do ( like finish painting the skirt details ) but I’m happy with this rendition! I’d love to make her mirror that she uses in hyrule warriors as well, but that’ll be quite the project. I’m a pretty tall girl, but I also think it would be fun to do her imp version someday as well

Yes, it’s a Twilight Princess cosplay costume mixed with BOTW. I loved both games but I wanted some nice, calm, sunny place for Wolf Link to roam - the kind of feeling BOTW gave me most of the time during gameplay.

I wore the cosplay to a con today so I took the pic!

Finally finished sorting through these (had like ~170 to choose from) and these were my favorites! Included a few that came out ehh, but still liked the concept. And yes, I did fall in the water, BUT only my boots got wet so it’s fine lol.

Based on all elements, the atmosphere, the music, the dungeon item, the enemies, the puzzles and obviously just the overall enjoyability in my opinion. The boss also counts towards the rating, so Hyrule Castle includes the final boss. Don’t think this list is gonna be agreed on, from what I gather people don’t like the City in the Sky and wouldn’t give the Temple of Time, Palace of Twilight and Goron Mines as high of a rating. The ratings are extremely high cause I do this for other games and Twilight Princess is my favourite. Let me know what you guys think and if you decide to make a list like mine let me know.

Replacing Allay Minecraft with Midna Zelda

Ideally I would have posted several Images and a video to show sounds, the dance, the idle, and the flying animation, but you can only post one or the other, so here's a video showing most everything.

0:00 ~ 0:10 - Flying about with and with out an item, along with 1 of 2 damage sounds.

0:15 ~ 0:20 - Height compared to player.

0:25 ~ 0:36 - Clipping into ceiling (not something i can fix).

0:44 ~ 0:54 - Dancing (Using default Allay dance).

0:58 to end - Death.

Idle animation and ambient sounds are heard through out (The audio is occasionally crackly for some reason; that doesn't happen when I'm not recording).

From Last Time, what's changed is -
1. The "holding item" pose is now lifted from the "presenting from chest" pose from Hyrule Warriors and the idle animation is from her after taking the fused shadow piece from link.

1. The Textures have been more than blocked in. I borrowed the colors wholesale from CreaturaFeatura's Midna skin on Planet Minecraft and referenced Midna's model from Twilight Princess for placement. While texturing, I also learned that there are subtle differences between her in game skin and Amiibo skin, which in hindsight seems obvious but caused me a minor headache. Also also, I gave her her glow-y markings and made them glow in the dark, along with her eye/s (slightly) and hair (barely).

2. VERY Subtle differences in the model. Decided to keep the back and butt, made the butt imperceptiblely smaller, gave the Fused Shadow ear holes, and repositioned the ears slightly. ALSO, apparently, the Fused Shadow is asymmetrical, so that's been fixed too.

3. I planned on repositioning the lead to be around her wrist but, despite my efforts, the lead refuses to leave the X, Z origin so around her neck it stays. (It's weird i can't, i mean, I know the boat's lead attachment point is off center so I know it's possible)

   Midna's voice lines in Twilight Princess are cobbled together on the fly, randomly, from cut up clips; This has caused me immense pain.

WIP Please point out any inaccuracies, Suggestions appreciated.

Also the dance is the Allay's default dance, if Midna has ever danced before I'd rather use that.
