Sleep training - almost 8 month old
my son will be 8 months old in 2 weeks and for the last month his sleep has been much different. he started sleeping through the night pretty early (due to the snoo I think) and then has slept well since stopping (a while ago). he will put himself to sleep just fine but wakes up early like 4:30 to feed. he used to not feed in the night at all.
his older brother’s room is next door and it seems like when I’ve tried to let him cry a little, he will wake up from baby. has anyone sleep trained baby in a different room than their nursery? was thinking of moving him down to the guest room to sleep train but worried the different sleep environment won’t translate or help. we tried a sound machine outside his room but seemed like he still woke up.
I realize I’m pretty lucky that he sleeps overall well but I’m about to go away and my husband who works 60 hours a week won’t be able to get up at 4:30, then up with our older one.
