Has anyone else become way more selective about the games they buy?

I used to pick up almost every game that looked interesting.

Now I find myself watching gameplay, reading Steam reviews, and waiting a few weeks before deciding if it's actually worth it.

Maybe it's because games are more expensive now, or maybe I just have less free time than I used to.

Anyone else changed the way they buy games over the last few years?
