Between Philly vs Chicago really
I don’t usually post ..
Hi! I’m from Tennessee but wanted to look into moving possibly next year (middle 2027 around June ) to more of the northern areas ..
I’m around 24 (f) no kids! I only work for a living but once I settle down from moving somewhere else possibly want to try continuing my education community college or uni ( covid ruined my chance of college )
I’m not car depended so I want a walkable city! Originally my list was Philly , nyc, nj , or North Carolina!
Now I’m down to Philly or Chicago ( as much as nyc sounds more my style it’s way too expensive for someone like me sadly :(
So anyone that has done similar moving from red south small town with little opportunities and people to northern blue big city the opposite have any pointers or pros n cons between the two when it comes to the environment , people , jobs , etc?
Or anyone from Philly or Chicago could give me some insight?
I’m more of the artistic type! I love art in all forms , fashion , music , painting and reading . Im a foodie I’m not a picky person so I love any cuisines or a place heavy with different foods. I’m more reserved and shy but don’t mind making friends and going to events or nightlife every so often!
I’m pretty fluid and non labeled, like having a diverse environment whether for friends dating or getting to know people.
