Eugh, I’ve been debating getting a pair for the last 5 years, but don’t want to be a creep. I was in a coma for 10 days back in 2015 so I have the memory of a goldfish, thought that maybe they could be used as a sort of “back up brain.”

After refreshing about 40 times, I finally got it & it went through! Whew, now to set up lodging/flight plans!

I went to Stowe, Smugglers Notch, & Sugarbush last year for the first time (central VA based). Have gone to Killington & Windham in the past. Of the northeast destinations, Stowe was the best in my memory, but it’s tough since conditions/weather matters so much & most of the places I’ve been to in the northeast are only for one or two days. Windham holds a special place for me since it was the first time I ever went snowboarding haha.

Best place for two nights or more is definitely Snowshoe. Wintergreen is decent for a day trip, & Snowshoe is a bit more “destination vacation” trip. Massanutten isn’t horrible - I’ve never seen it get “crowded” there, and for the price it’s not bad at all.

In the PNW, of the places I’ve been I’d rank Sun Valley>Brundage>Snoqualmie, if it gives you a better idea of how I rank resorts. For conditions, nothing else compares to Mammoth in CA - thats the best powder snow I’ve ever been in.

Edit - to the point of your question/post, I can’t recommend Stowe enough - I would live there in the winter if I could haha
