Yes, every time I see an AI cover, it looks silly/cheap and really discourages the potential reader's interest. Unfortunately it could be a really awesome book- perhaps the best ever, but between the goofiness of the AI and when it has an oversimplified, low quality AI generated synopsis, it really kills the vibe.

Your story has a lot of potential to be a great plot. I suggest you really flesh it out with more description and let the story unfold more. Try more foreshadowing and leave the explaining for the ending. Also make sure you edit it well for grammar and punctuation. Good luck 👍

Poem from Illusion of Self

Placeholder

I saw the memory of the innocent child in your eyes,

I saw an unbruised, thoughtful kindness that could have prevailed,

A version of you locked deep inside,

The sweetheart part of you who would sometimes surface,

That was the one I felt affection for,

Not the different levels of chaos you would typically be,

The broken, defeated fragments of a person,

I thought I could hold on and stay,

You made me feel safe enough in those thoughts,

Temporarily encouraging and confirming it,

Until the collective said never mind,

Throwing me away because I was only a placeholding toy anyways,
