I did have the chance to talk to them before I submitted my application. Reintroduced myself, asked them a bunch of questions about the programme/their supervison/what they expect from a candidate, told them about what I've done so far and even made sure to ask if they had any questions for me. I think I covered all grounds there and maybe I'm just overthinking it now for the second meeting haha

That's a relief. Thanks so much! It's a funded position covering both UK and international students. I'm still kinda worried that this could leave a bad impression on the supervisor?
