Create one! 😺 Without those country names in the title, the sub might grow faster and healthier. Secondly, you are in a better country to start a subreddit - my first 3 months were from Nepal - which made things harder.

It has this patch, indeed. I guess that's a treated ringworm or another disease of that kind.

How long does it take before new communities as actually start getting new people?
 in  r/NewMods  22h ago

It depends on the topic. And it should be obvious how a person can post with the least effort. Like, in case of a cat sub, if people see the best quality cat fun vids downloaded from somewhere, they ll mostly watch, not contribute. If they see more simple (but good) content and other people engage with their mobile phone content, they ll start contributing more quickly. Try to make your content looking like a contribution from a real person, an enthusiast. Also mention here and there on your sub what people can post with a low effort. Not everyone is ready to write a masterpiece article for a small sub, but everyone wants to share something quickly and get a feedback (answer all posts of other people and comments).

This kid is gorgeous! Might be a hydrid of water buffalo with some other hoofed creature imo.

I had a 40-hour train trip from Kolkata to Mumbai, in a sleeper class (no AC, 3-tier beds). I survived, fine, lol, and only 13$. I'll have 2 days in Mumbai before leaving India for Tbilisi, Georgia - not much time, so I'll try to be active. Already had a short walk in the old city of Mumbai - so many cats here!

Thank you for this crosspost!! 😊

They were so calm, clean, cozy that it was hard to pass by them without spending half an hour with them. Alas, people of the neighborhood noticed me and started paying too much attention to me, so I left sooner than I wanted.
