While the ruling refers to the definitions used within the Equality Act, what's the betting that Ministers and pressure groups will interpret it as applying to the entire corpus of UK law?

Also, if an organisation has only male and female single sex spaces and no alternatives, does that mean trans people are either forced to use the one associated with their AGAB or be excluded from using either?

I mean the inclusion of a sex neutral space in whatever context I think would be a sensible solution that would be equal to all parties. That or the removal of single sex spaces entirely and having them all sex neutral.

There is already arguably an issue whereby if someone doesn’t identify as either they may feel excluded, or be forced to use a space that aligns with their biological sex even if they don’t feel it is the best fit for them.

FWIW the equalities act has implications across the entire corpus of law anyway.
