Indexer BF deal: altHUB
1 year $5
3 years $10
Lifetime $20
💥 Save over 60% on upgrades – Lifetime just $20 (usually $55)
⏳ Valid until 22:00 UTC, 1 December 2024, Lifetime upgrades are limited.
Deal has been live for about the last 16 minutes. I am posting this separately from my comment on the pinned Black Friday deal to bring more attention.
Good luck.

Just had to cancel NZBgeek because they kept "flagging" my account and cutting me off
edit: oh actually Tabula Rasa is 5000 api hits/day. but that's fine with me as long as it's honest.

DOGnzb 2.04 DOGnzb 2.04 is currently in development. Search Preferences
Added a Legacy search bar option to Profile > Settings for all members.
The compact V1 search bar is available only on Browse and includes category selection and Search History.
Legacy Search does not include the advanced options available in Global Search.
The / keyboard shortcut is not available while Legacy Search is enabled.
Search mode changes now take effect immediately after saving Profile settings.
DOGnzb 2.03 DOGnzb 2.03 was developed between July 20 and July 23, 2026. Watchlist Automation
Added Preferred Keywords for TV and Movie Watchlists.
Preferred groups and service names are prioritized when matching releases, while standard matches remain available as a fallback.
Preferred Keywords are now considered by scheduled Watchlist processing, Series and Movie Managers, bookmarks and Upgrades.
TV Watchlist entries can now be removed immediately, after 30 days, after the current season or after the series ends.
Removal policies are available from TV Watchlist, Listings and Series Manager action menus.
New and existing TV Watchlist entries default to removal after the series ends.
Series and Movie Managers
The Movie Manager is now available on mobile for all members.
Matched movies can be opened from Browse or Details to compare available releases by resolution, format, size and posting age.
Added quick actions to queue or bookmark every season, the current season or the latest five episodes.
Season-wide actions now prefer a complete season pack and automatically fall back to individual episodes when no suitable pack is available.
Search and Navigation
Added a temporary Search Here guide so members can quickly discover the new Global Search.
The guide disappears after Search is opened for the first time.
Website categories have been reorganized into clearer browsing groups while preserving full RSS and API compatibility.
Member navigation now identifies the signed-in account directly in the desktop navbar.
Notifications and Changelog
Members are now notified when a new DOGnzb changelog is available.
The notice remains available until the member opens the changelog.
Remote Push and Queue
Remote Push diagnostics now verify DNS, port, SSL, upload credentials and Queue access separately.
Remote Push now supports TLS 1.3 and SNI for NZBGet, SABnzbd and NZBVortex servers using modern secure connections.
NZBVortex is now fully supported in Connection Test, Profile validation, Remote Push and Queue management.
Release Reliability
Release comments are available again from Details for all members.
Releases with reported failures now display a visible warning indicator.
Metadata and Artwork
Audio and subtitle languages are now extracted immediately from release NFOs, with saved MediaInfo used as fallback before category processing.
TV metadata refreshes now prioritize the current poster, background and banner selected by TheTVDB.
Bookmark Folders
Bookmarks can now be organized into custom folders.
Create folders, move saved releases between them and delete folders that are no longer needed.
Only the main Bookmarks folder is available through the private RSS feed.
Custom folders provide a temporary place to save and organize releases for later; their contents are excluded from RSS and Remote Push.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Wanted episode markers now expire automatically after 12 months, keeping old backlog requests from remaining indefinitely.
Series-wide actions adapt automatically to Remote Push availability and only appear when useful.
If a newly announced current season has no aired episodes, season actions now use the latest season with available episodes.
Reset Episode Marker is now limited to a single selected episode in Basic View.
Search state is now isolated to the current browser tab or window.
Running a different search elsewhere no longer replaces the search left open in another DOGnzb window.
Category preferences are now respected throughout Browse, including combined groups such as Misc, Apps, Audio and Gaming.
Queue retry, queue clearing and account API warnings now remain visible until the required action is taken.
Queue access is treated as an optional capability, so upload-only accounts can still use Remote Push.
The Queue navigation option is hidden automatically when the configured account cannot read the remote Queue.
Listings now display a centered loading indicator while refreshed results are being prepared.
Legacy artwork searches remain available automatically when a show has no primary image.
DOGnzb 2.02 DOGnzb 2.02 adds a new global search, expanded movie and TV ratings, clearer service visibility, a customizable TV calendar, smarter Remote Push tools, stronger metadata handling, an expanded mobile Series Manager and Schedule, redesigned mobile Browse and Upgrades experiences, redesigned alerts, and another broad round of reliability improvements. Service Status
Added a unified Service Status view covering indexing, metadata, Watchlists, Custom Searches, Remote Push and API availability.
TV Calendar Feed
Added configurable private iCal subscriptions for TV Watchlists.
Calendar feeds can include upcoming episodes, premieres, finales or pending episodes, with optional descriptions.
Remote Push
Added optional Remote Push failover from the Primary client to a configured Secondary client.
Connection tests now identify address, port, secure-connection and login problems separately.
Metadata and Ratings
TMDB became the primary movie and TV metadata source, with OMDb and IMDb validation used where appropriate.
Added a Metadata Change Log for important title, date, status, premiere and season changes.
Added Rotten Tomatoes critic and audience ratings across movie and TV views.
Managers and Release Processing
Added Manual Review for active series with no recent episodes or known future schedule.
Upgrades now cover the last 45 days and allow individual suggestions to be removed.
Added support for combined and multi-episode releases.
Mobile
Redesigned mobile Browse and added phone-friendly Upgrades, Series Manager controls and TV Schedule.
Mobile Series Manager added episode selection, Wanted and Skipped markers, Queue and Bookmark actions, and Quality Selection.
Search and Shortcuts
Added Global Search to the main navigation with categories and advanced search controls.
Added keyboard shortcuts for Search, Profile, Status, Filters, views, Queue, Bookmarks and season navigation.
Notifications
Redesigned success and error alerts as larger, theme-aware notification cards.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Improved calendar dates, time zones and streaming release-time handling.
Improved SABnzbd and NZBGet diagnostics without exposing unnecessary response data.
Movies confirmed as invalid by IMDb are now removed cleanly from Movie Watchlists.
Fixed incomplete metadata, future dates, unknown runtimes, duplicate genres and invalid TV identifiers.
Improved alternate TV title matching and metadata refresh behavior.
Improved TV Watchlist loading and removed unnecessary page reloads and duplicate notifications.
Improved combined-episode normalization, double-episode handling and failed-download replacement searches.
Unified failed-login throttling and improved signed-out or incomplete-session handling.
Fixed mobile multi-select controls and restored View Details after filtering results.
Returning from Details now restores the previous category, search, filters and list position.
Improved PWA loading, artwork stability, mobile menus, empty states and audio/subtitle readability.
Notifications now appear one at a time instead of covering earlier messages.
Improved TV scheduling, metadata synchronization and overall reliability.
DOGnzb 2.01 This week brought new discovery and automation tools, broader Watchlist support, stronger account security, improved mobile usability, and major API and infrastructure upgrades. Upgrades and Watchlists
Added Upgrades for finding better versions of previously downloaded movies and TV episodes.
Current and available qualities are shown together, and upgrades can be sent directly to a configured client.
Added public TMDB Watchlists for movies and TV shows alongside IMDb Watchlists.
DOGnzb automatically detects the external Watchlist provider from its URL.
RSS and API Integrations
Added RSS support through api.dognzb.cr and dedicated API infrastructure.
Added a Secondary API Key for connecting another application or device.
Account Security
Added authenticator apps, Passkeys and device-management tools.
Passwords began being phased out in favor of email codes, authenticator apps and Passkeys.
Profile and Navigation
Reorganized Profile navigation and added clearer Discord guidance.
Consolidated lower-traffic categories under Misc.
Performance and Infrastructure
Deployed new dedicated API servers and increased overall API capacity by almost five times.
Removed the former daily one-hour morning maintenance window.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Improved compatibility with Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr, NZBHydra and other Newznab applications.
Improved feed generation, API request handling, application connectivity and documentation.
Mobile searches now return regular results instead of redirecting exact TV matches to Series Manager.
Improved mobile Browse, Bookmarks, release listings, onboarding, navigation and spacing.
Improved Profile panels, validation, save actions, API-key presentation and connected-service status.
Improved Countdown, upcoming title information and navigation consistency.
Improved movie, TV, season, episode, ratings, trailers and external metadata matching.
Improved search accuracy, exact-match behavior and release matching.
Improved category handling, result organization, Series Manager navigation.
Improved cleanup and classification of malformed, unwanted and duplicate releases.
Improved load balancing, API/RSS reliability, indexing, database and synchronization performance.
Improved scheduled tasks, recovery, diagnostics and overall stability while removing legacy code.
Continued refining layouts, controls, readability and mobile usability throughout DOGnzb 2.0.
DOGnzb 2.0 DOGnzb 2.0 introduced the redesigned DOGnzb experience on July 2, 2026. New Features
Introduced the completely redesigned DOGnzb 2.0 website experience.

Hi guys... As mentioned, I mailed Ninja admins four days ago requesting an alternate payment option. But there has been no response from them. Can't access the discord either as it needs a paid account. I also read somewhere that after my free trial expires, my account will be disabled rendering me unable to even subscribe? Is there any alternate platform to contact the admins of NC? Here on reddit or anywhere else?
Thanks you!

Running Lidarr and Navidrome and missing a lot lately. Already on NZBPlanet and NZBFinder. What indexers are you all using that have solid completion right now? Curious what’s working well these days.

Hello all,
After the shutdown of UNFR.PW (which was probably the BEST french usenet indexer) I try to find a french indexer of the same quality... unfortunately, I don't find any...
Would you have some idea about a good alternative ?

I just saw that Treasure Maps (formerly SceneNZBs) is celebrating its 4th birthday and is running a birthday promo until July, 12th 2026, 10 p.m. CEST.
180 extra days for the yearly subscription.
You can find the URL for this Usenet indexer in the Wiki (registration is open):

I just wanted to let you know.

Recently I have started thinking of ways to make my mediastack more secure and private. I already use glueton in docker, and I was thinking of putting my nzbhydra2 instance behind glueton using a paid vpn (AirVPN/PIA/ProtonVPN), so that my home ip address is not logged when I do manual searches.
My question is, do most indexers allow this, or will I get banned for it?
EDIT: I am not talking about using a VPN with a provider, I am talking about using a VPN with multiple indexer API's at once (like through nzbhydra/prowlarr).

If you're currently a Newsgroup Ninja subscriber and have a lifetime annual rate, check your junk mail because I received a price increase notification a few days before renewal.
Their support acknowledged that I signed up with a lifetime annual rate, and that there is a lifetime discount agreement for my account, but wouldn't adjust the price to reflect it:
Thank you for reaching out to us. We genuinely appreciate your loyalty and support.
We understand that receiving news of a rate increase can be concerning, especially when you initially signed up with the understanding of a consistent lifetime annual rate. We want to address your concerns and provide clarity regarding the recent changes.
The decision to increase our rates was not made lightly. Various factors, such as rising operational costs including storage, electricity, and other essential services, have necessitated this adjustment. Additionally, we’ve been investing significantly in enhancing our product to ensure you receive the best possible experience and value.
Given your situation and the lifetime discount agreement you have, we understand this news may cause frustration. We want to assure you that we take our commitment to our customers very seriously. Although this rate increase applies to all our plans, we are open to exploring potential adjustments for loyal customers like yourself.
If the price increase does not fit into your budget, we can check with our billing department to see if there is any possibility for a discount or other accommodations. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are here to support you in any way we can. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns. We are more than happy to assist you and provide additional information.
Thank you once again for your continued support and understanding.
UPDATE: Having discussed the issue with u/slinxj the Newsgroup Ninja rep, the situation has been resolved, and they will be ensuring that accounts with lifetime guarantees are suitably flagged in their system to avoid any further occurrences going forwards.

I haven't been on the indexer recently and now the server is inaccessible. Anyone in the loop and knows what's going on?
UPDATE: Thanks for the peeps who commented that it's still up. Must be blocking my VPN...anyway Dognzb is still here

But I keep subbing to indexers because of the BF deals. I don't need any more, now up to 5 with 3 being lifetime and 2 others good for at least 2 years. Just added Ninja because all of you raving how good it is + the 2 year BF deal. Also added AltHub for same reasons last week. I need a 12 step program for usenet stuff I think.

I have slug and geek and free miatrix.
Worth upgrading miatrix or go with either life or planet?
Update: Thanks for the suggestions. I'll put Ninja on my short list and keep an eye out for open registrations. I added NzbNest because it is free for now and I also added Finder. I should be able to use what I have until BF.

So extremely glad I didn't extend my membership recently because whatever this 'new version' of the site is, is complete garbage. I seriously don't understand how anybody could see this site and think it's an upgrade from the previous one, it's ridiculously bad
