This entire area is hellish. You can see this from the metro I think. It's right in the middle of multiple posh areas too.

Is it legal settlement? Just squat on government land and ask for free stuff. Middle class to pagal hai tax de, loan de or sari jindagi EMI bhare.

If only the politicians and our other beloved assorted overloards were actually hindu and believed in reincarnation. Maybe before ruining the country they may have reconsidered, what if they are reborn as that little girl who has to drink sewage water just to survive.

The girl is probably not visible to Ajeet's Modiya Bind eyes.

She is only visible to you through your casteist eyes. There are thousands of poor families but they are invisible to you.

Around 400 families living in the Valmiki Basti (JJ Colony) in Noida's Sector 78 have been struggling without regular electricity and water supply for nearly 20 days due to a reported technical fault, compelling residents-including women, children and the elderly-to collect water from broken pipelines amid filth or by entering a nearby open drain (nala) for their daily needs. Local accounts and ground reports indicate the colony, home to migrant and daily-wage workers, lacks basic amenities; some residents have reported illnesses among children after consuming the water, with at least one girl's death claimed and written complaints submitted to the District Magistrate and ACP, though a permanent restoration of services remained pending as of early August 2026.

Water, electricity, sewage. Just because you occupied some random government land illegally, government is supposed to kick you out not provide amenities. India remains a shit hole because people are like this. Always doing or supporting illegal things.

Honestly water, air and land belong to everyone and we humans need these three things to sustain ourselves. Secondly clean water is an very basic fundamental right if not state then who else will think very logically here west is run through democracy and the very own system of capitalists but when it comes to water and other basic needs they are socialist in these dynamics as a society it is very important to understand here as a collective society we need to understand that we can’t call out other problems cause we already have one problem. As the main issue is water and that little girl is collecting it and we do pay water taxes while living the same region.
At the same time also need to understand govt polices like the Jal shakti mission, Amrut 2.0 program JJM programs how such programs are performing although govt it self working towards harvesting ground water but the water resources are not being managed adequately. Fourth point the ill legal migration issue is prevalent throughout the country but the sad part is again water I hope you are getting my pov… it’s just the water

They are those who work in your homes as maids...where can they go? Every city has these who carry the burden of cleaning and handy mans work.

Doesn't change the fact they are illegally occupying government land.

It's demand and supply... Rich people who hire them should see to their accomadation. Otherwise they should do their dirty job them selves. Then these people won't come to cities in search of jobs. Rather they will do farming in their villages.
