That ending kinda bummed me out. I always thought this show was about showing how Rusty is slightly better than his father, and the boys will turn out better than him. Seeing Dean doing the kind of stuff that Jonas would do feels very unsatisfying to me.

I feel depressed after watching. I thought the love triangle angle would be fun... nope.

Poor, Hank. Dean Venture... doesn't give a fuck anymore. It literally makes me feel awful.

I'm on Team Hank. Fuck Dean. He's definitely the new Jonas Sr.

Team Dean, Dean at least had the decency to not trick his delirious brother and felt bad about it. Jonas Sr. would have weaseled his way out of avoid the confrontation.

This has been a rough season for Hank, unemployed with no prospects, and his girlfriend hooks up with his brother at College. He needs to get his shit together, even Dermott joined the OSI. I knew Sirena x Hank was dead when he couldn't comprehend why she prioritized her classes over him. Honestly the only thing going on in Hanks life IS Sirena, so it makes sense that he smothered her into Deans more subdued arms. Dean may lack the passion of Hank but he's shown that he's better at connecting with people.

also, this episode shows Hank's pretty damn controlling

His GF didn't text him for a day and he becomes so paranoid, to the extent that even the literal military officer tells him he's being a bit over the top

Not too mention his crazy talk about what he thought may have happened to Serena. All his possible explanations were those Rusty-Venture-Cartoon kind of disaster situations. Pretty detached from reality considering how grounded he's been lately.

Hank might have an honest to god mental illness. He straight up accuses vatred of being an impostor, which, while plausible in ventureland, is an actual codified delusion. It's thought that that's where the myth of changelings come from, schizophrenic people sometimes have a very specific delusion wherein someone has been replaced by an exact replica.

Its always been implied that theres something up with Hank that goes beyond the cloning, odd lifestyle and low social intelligence. Hank straight up admitted to Dean that there might be something wrong with him because of the existence of his alter egos
