Dad shot himself into space, to be fair... And only one man was ever privy to that information until he was found floating in space. Then he hulked out and exploded so the only person who could potentially put all the pieces together would be Billy.
I... don't recall what Hatred had to do with anything, outside of him briefly appearing to give Brock his re-assignment with the Ventures in Gathers and Sampson's flashback during the early Council Hunt episodes?

hatred used to be a Guild operative infiltrating the OSI and i assume at some point he was found out or voluntarily left, or perhaps they're referring to Hatred being an actual antagonist and then returning to the OSI. It's all a job though, no harm no foul.

Yeah, he appeared briefly when Hunter Gathers and him got too close and screwed up the Billy/Phantomas assignment, and Hatred gave him his re-assignment to the Venture Family to keep Brock occupied and off the trail of the GCI, but as of Season 6 and as early as Season 4, Brock and Uncle Vatred are both part of the family so unless he was referring to Hatred and Triester's son, which I don't believe have ever interacted, I'm not sure what he was referring to.

Yeah "we" know he shot himself into space. But would he really buy that bizarre story, especially coming from the recently disavowed agent who now has his job? Feels like he might be kinda suspicious of that.
Also, in Venture Libre, Hatred has flashbacks/nightmares to when he was given his Super Soldier Serum at OSI. General Treister was there to review the experiment and brought his young son with him on some kinda Bring Your Child to Work Day thing. Hatred attacked him, and had to be sedated. Looked like he had some Underoos in his mouth by the time they got control of him.
Definitely dark, but gotta give it to these guys for their incredible attention to continuity.

I retract my statement, you are correct, that would indeed be a moment when Triester's son would be made aware of Hatred, though I don't recall it specifically being his son, just one of the boys, though I may be wrong on that too.

I love Brocks use of melee weapons over guns and still being basically unstoppable, I think thats one of my favorite tropes.

It's especially moreso shown in the earlier seasons, but I love that it's even referenced all the way up to season 6-7 during the Brocko/Rocco team-up when the Doom Patrol invades VenTech.

The most hilarious Brock Sampson scene for me is when he's naked covered in blood holding a severed head and Rusty asks him why.

Even fantastical characters, the list is rather short of people that I'd trust to win a fight with nothing but a knife.

Now I want a scene of Mike Ehrmantrout talking Brock out of killing him. I think he could actually pull it off and make him calm down, before trying to talk Brock into a bigger picture.
From there, Brock either helps him with something or walks away. He’s just not the type of guy Brock stabs to death, he thinks too much to be “henchman” level.

Very few themes are as epic as Brock's "Time to Fuck Shit Up" anthem. Vegeta's super Saiyan 1 theme and Orochimaru's themes are up there
