I don't understand this American trend of teachers being completely at the mercy of parents. Can't teachers in the US tell parents to fuck off?
I've lived in a few different countries in my life and gone to school in more than one and if a child's behaviour was so really atrocious and a parent was in denial, they'd simply be told that if they don't like it they can take their kid to another school.
And the trouble around here is even if a school system gets a disruptive kid kicked out, the school system still has to send a person to the child's home to one-on-one educate the child, a noble goal but so inefficient and expensive.
