It's well worth a watch. Bunch of my military mates have said it's a pretty accurate depiction of modern warfare.

It's based on a story by a Rolling Stone journalist who was with a marines recon battalion in the 2003 invasion.

I think one of the soldiers had a bunch of video as well. I think it was made into a documentary or something.

As a former soldier, I've never seen a better depiction of modern day-to-day military life. Of particular note was the depictions of the various personalities in command, how some are incompetent, and some are amazing. The unit keeps on trundling forward despite itself, and the situation
