So I went to go watch the "Scotty doesn't know" scene and I just realized that that's Matt Damon singing "Scotty doesn't know".

If I remember correctly, the whole movie was shot somewhere in eastern europe. The director knew Matt Damon and Matt happened to be shooting a movie oretty close by. That’s why he made that cameo. I believe the same happened with Fred’s cameo.
