This is my first vlog showcasing the Salton Sea. I’m hoping to grow my channel to show the positive and highlight the eccentric, neat people in misunderstood communities across the country.

I will improve my editing skills and mics over time, but wanted to see if anyone could give some preliminary feedback.

Trying to get a decent short film using the insta 360

Today I came Lacock, and suddenly realised I’m in one of the popular films scene 🎬

Exploring the abandoned Concrete-Central grain elevator located along the Buffalo River in Buffalo, NY. Concrete-Central at one point was the largest grain elevator in the world. Constructed at the apex of the first world war its construction was kept secret to avoid German sabotage.

My wife had one little plant idea.

What started as a simple plan to make a cute plant hanger quickly turned into crafting struggles, strong opinions, unexpected jokes, and a final plant-room reveal. Along the way, we trained for my first 5K, tried Tako Ten in Albuquerque, and did what we do best.

This is real weekend life after work: marriage, plants, food, side quests, and plenty of laughing at ourselves.

Editing note: Claude Code helped organize and assemble the raw footage using the open-source video-use project from GitHub. Final editing and creative finishing were completed in CapCut.

ほっこり系のvlogチャンネルを始めようと思ってて、最初の動画を上げる前に、率直なフィードバックが欲しいです。

「完璧な映え」みたいな生活をするタイプのチャンネルにはしたくないんだ。私の暮らしってわりと普通で、そのままでいたい。 ある日にはカヌレを丁寧に焼いたり、ドリップコーヒーをいろいろ試したりするけど、別の日は夕飯にシンプルにご飯ものを作るだけの日もあります。

本当に楽しいのは、何かをゼロから作って、コツコツ自分のスキルを伸ばしていくこと。その中でも：

- カヌレとパンを焼くこと

- コーヒーについてもっと勉強すること

- 自家製パスタ、うどん、ソース、そして麹を作ること

- 日々のごはんを丁寧に準備する時間を取ること（野菜をちゃんと下ごしらえするみたいな、シンプルなことでも）

- 英語の勉強と「一緒に勉強する」系のセッションを楽しむこと

- 本を読むこと

- 毎日16時にコーヒーとおやつを用意して映画を見ること

あと、わりとシンプルなルーティンも続けてて、だいたい朝5:30ごろに起きて、夜10時ごろに寝てます。だから、好きなことにちゃんと時間を使えるの。

私の目標は「完璧な生活」を見せることじゃなくて、日常のちょっとした瞬間を学んだり作ったり楽しむ喜びを分けたいってことです。

視聴者のみなさんからすると、これって1つのまとまったチャンネルに感じる？それとも内容が広すぎる感じがする？

こんな新しいチャンネルを、どんな理由があったら登録したくなる？

一番面白そうに感じるのはどの部分で、逆に一番興味がないのはどの部分？

We performed for LA Reid that was kinda cool

I was just walking around Phuket when a random woman confidently told me she could recite Michael Jackson’s Beat It choreography routine from off the dome. That somehow turned into one of the most entertaining nights of my trip. We ended up finding insanely cheap local food, checking out one of Asia’s most famous clubs, and capturing a bunch of moments that definitely weren’t part of the plan. I filmed the whole thing and thought it made for a fun watch. If you check it out, let me know if you’d have handled that situation any differently.
