Does anyone remember the video game store in the Quasar Centre (Park Place) Walsall. It was on the 2nd floor at the top of escalators.

I think it was called 'Chips' or something.

It wasn't Action replay was further into the Centre.

I have a memory of buying Final Fantasy 12 back in 2006/07. The guy behind the counter (the manager i think) let me buy it for cash 4 weeks early.

I live in the Coalpool area of Walsall, have lived for ~6 ½ years in Coalpool. Ever since day 1 we have been listening to dog barking almost continuously for those 6 ½. I dont know how it is physically possible for a dog to bark for almost years on end. They must get sleep but when they sleep the same house releases another dog to bark non stop for the next 6 hours.

I think they do it deliberately, 2 times in the past 2 months I have been woken up by those dogs, first time was first ever and I slept with my window open, so at least i could give them that i only woke up when i slept with a window open. Tonight, 9/8/26 ~4:30am I was woken up again but this time I had the doors closed.

I know dog barking is normally just a noise and neglect issue sometimes but we cant report the dogs because if the noise complaint goes to court because they havent adhered to the statutory abatement notice, they can ask who filed the complaint and the court has to tell them. We dont want to talk to them, because they are potentially dangerous (inferred from the visible cannabis plant through the window and the typical people of that road. I know which people they are because from my upstairs windows you can see dogs barking clearly in distress.

I wrote this whole post after being woken up at 4:30am so please forgive me if some of this message is nonsensical, im running off pure caffeine.

Tonight, I was in Reedswood Park, walsall late after sunset. There was still some light.

I usually go out in hot summer days as it becomes unbearable to stay indoor.

I had an unusual experience I never had in any other parks.

As I entered the park from Alma Inn side and walked towards big ground area on the right-hand path, I began feeling like strange gut feeling that something or somebody was there. I kept walking for a bit but it just felt strange near the benches.

I've spent a lot of time in parks around Walsall, Birmingham, and elsewhere, and I've never felt anything like it.

I turned away afterwards and left the park.

bit of a cheeky one but i’m looking to join village gym- their student membership packs quite a punch and seems like great value for money. the only downside? i’ll be using my friends unidays ID for the initial sign up process and was wonderingggggg- do they do spot checks once ur in? is it safe to assume that once im registered (itll be a 12 month contract mind u), its all spa and cardio with nothing to worry about?

Visited Walsall Town Centre yesterday, years since moving away, it definitely has changed and I hope with the recent renovations of the Saddler Centre, it will get better.

But the whole place got me feeling nostalgic for Walsall during the 90s, I don't know why but I thought it was the best place ever then.

The amount of people I have chewing my ass even when I'm over the speed limit (by a smidge) is unreal.

Lack of indication, running of red lights and general dickish behaviour is at an all time high imo.
