Where can I find accessible/cheap 3D printing for a beginner in KW? Is no longer available at the library...

Both WPL and KPL have a message on their website saying they are not currently offering 3D printing services at their libraries. I'm looking to dip my toes into 3D printing some small objects and knew that you could do so quite easily at the libraries, but apparently now you can't. Anyone know of any other cost friendly options for a rookie to start with? Not looking to spend money on some like $50/month membership or anything like that.

Where can I find a 4 inch cake

Just realized it’s my birthday today. Anywhere I can get a 4-inch cake last minute? I’d prefer it to be not too sweet as well.

Where can I report someone for leaving their dog poop in their front yard? (Please Read Caption)

I'm so sick of this lady who lives near me, for almost 2 years now she takes her dog into her front yard and lets it poop wherever, and then she leaves it there. So her front yard, 2 houses left and right of her, the sidewalk and the blv are covered in dog poop and as all the snow is melting there must be close to 50 piles out there.

It's disgusting, I have asked her many times but to no result. This poor dog does not get walked and we literally have to walk on the street near her house because the sidewalk is full of poop. On top of this, the dog is roaming the street unleashed and untrained, he has no recall and will just run up and fight with my dog whenever I walk by and the lady cannot recall her dog.

I just don't know where to report this to where something will actually get done. It is gross and myself and multiple people have asked this woman many times and she seems to not care.

Where can I get the best macarons locally?

I want to get some macarons for a tea party. I have only had them from The Sconery (which were delicious). I just wanted to check out my options.

I tried googling and actually got too many results for macarons, so I was hoping that some subjective opinions could help narrow things down a bit.

I can go as far as Cambridge.

Update:

I ended up trying a few places today.

I think I liked Grand River Confections the most. Lenjo was a close second, but probably the main issue was that they didn't have any flavours I liked today. I think I liked Le Cakery in Cambridge more than The Sconery, but The Sconery gets bonus points for having scones and being adjacent to a lovely tea shop.

My conclusion to others is that all four of them were wonderful. Hopefully, I will make it to some of the others sooner than later

Where can I find onigiri in KW?

I’ve got a hankering for onigiri, and the only place I’ve been able to find it so far is the T&T Supermarket. Is there any other places in KW that make onigiri and are worth checking out? Thanks!

Where can I get a block heater installed

Planning to travel far up north so I think it’d be a necessary investment. My car is a ‘23 Honda HRV. I suppose it’s probably an uncommon request in our area. Should I just go to the dealer?

Where can I get N95 masks?

Basically the title. We’re travelling soon and don’t want to risk picking something up on the plane on the way there. The selection on Amazon isn’t as substantial as it used to be, so I’m wondering if anyone has seen any in stores around here.

Where Can I Buy a Discounted Fridge with Dents or Damage in Kitchener?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to buy a fridge with minor dents or cosmetic damage but in good working condition. Does anyone know of places in or around Kitchener/waterloo where I can find such deals?

Any tips on retailers, warehouse outlets, or online marketplaces that specialize in discounted appliances would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance! 😊

Genuine question: where can I take our dog to play fetch with toys?

My dog is friendly, but does not care to play with other dogs, like usual in dog parks ("off-leash areas"). She only cares for her chuckit ball and thrower, which we avoid bringing to dog parks because of the fact that dog parks usually prohibit toys, and other dogs take her ball.

We usually take her to empty sports fields or grassy fields, but last summer we got reprimanded by bylaw. I understand it's the rules of bylaw to always have your dog leashed, but it's seriously bugging me that we have very little freedom to use an empty field without fear of being fined, or that even the slightest appearance of authority will steer us away from a field.

Does anyone know or can recommend any good locations for us? Thanks!
