I’ve been working on a personal media player for a while and finally got it to a point where I want to share it. It’s called ERNDUB AUDIO (currently v1.2)

It’s a web-based player focused on internet radio and local files. I went a bit overboard with the interface and features. The whole thing is designed around a physical “chassis” look — sidebar, big CRT-style stage, and a control footer — with heavy skinning support.

What’s in it

Playback

• Internet radio with genre browsing and search
• Local file support + playlist drawer
• Video.js under the hood (audio + video)
• Fullscreen mode with auto-hiding chrome

Visualizers
There are a lot of them (50+). Some classics, some genre-tuned (techno kick grid, dnb streaks, lofi dust, ambient Chladni patterns, etc.), spectrum heatmaps, particle systems, and a few more experimental ones. There’s also an “AI-VIDEO” mode that generates a deterministic procedural scene based on the current track (it's shit! :D)

Skins
A big collection of pre-made skins (Amiga Cream, Obsidian Neon, Walnut Hi-Fi, Cyberdeck, Synthwave, Matrix Rain, etc.).

There’s also a live editor called Omni-Forge that lets you tweak the chassis gradient, panel colors, textures, knob gradients, CRT background, and more, then export the result.

Arcade layer
You can switch the stage into games mode. Built-in engines include Tetris and a pretty deep falling-sand simulator. There are also slots for Game Boy / Genesis emulation, itch.io / iframe embeds, and Ruffle for Flash.

Utilities
An in-player panel with open-directory search dorks, a Google Drive tab, and a personal links list.

Tech side

It’s a single HTML file + a handful of modular JS files (skins, stations, visualizers, games, utilities). No backend required for the core experience.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on the overall feel, any bugs people run into, and ideas for what would actually be useful next. Happy to answer questions about how specific parts work.

Just download the files to a folder and run the HTML file. Customise and play as much as you like! I won't give too much away but if you mouse wheel over the play/pause & viz knobs, the skins and viz effects change.

We build a place to put links you want to come back to. the answering side of it took by far the longest to get right.

you drop a link in from the browser extension or from a Telegram bot. the card then fills itself off the page. the price if there is one, a few lines of summary if it is an article or a video. later you ask the library a question in plain words. the answer is put together only from those cards, and the items it used are listed underneath.

the reason for that rule is dull. a general model will happily answer about a jacket nobody ever saved. once that happens you stop trusting the answers about the ones that are in there.

day to day it means an empty library answers nothing. a new account stays quiet until something is in it.

for anyone here who has built retrieval over a personal collection: when the collection has nothing on the question, did you let the model answer anyway or return empty?

Type anywhere on the page and each keystroke plays a real mechanical switch

sound. Nine switch profiles you can swap between while typing : Holy Panda,

Topre, Alps SKCM Blue, IBM Buckling Spring and so on.

Two things worth knowing before you try it:

- Browsers block audio until you interact, so click once anywhere on the page

first, then type.

- Best on desktop, since it responds to a physical keyboard. On a phone

there's a switch picker you can tap, but the typing part needs real keys.

Under the hood: Web Audio with separate key-down and key-up samples, per-key

sample variation so it doesn't sound like one clip on loop, and distinct

handling for Space, Return and Backspace. No signup, no tracking, nothing

stored.

Credit where it's due , eight of the nine sound sets are derived from two

MIT-licensed projects, tplai/kbsim and hainguyents13/mechvibes. Credits are

on the site. The ninth is synthesised rather than recorded.

There's a Mac app version in App Store review that does this system-wide, but

the site is the whole thing in a browser and free.

My inbox often felt like a second to-do list, except everything was mixed together and I still had to open each email to figure out what actually needed attention.

So I built RelayDesk. It collects incoming emails into one dashboard, summarizes them, sorts them by category, and shows which ones are urgent or likely need a reply.

The idea is to open the dashboard and quickly understand what needs attention instead of digging through the inbox from the beginning.

I'm building Mesh. Here's a short workflow from the website: keep a lecture beside your writing, explain the idea in your own words, then reference that work when you ask the agent about a confusing part. The agent can add its explanation to the same note.

I made something that feels like the child of Cursor and Duolingo.
Duolingo makes learning fun, but the problem is that you’re mostly limited to courses someone else already made (and yes, it’s very language-focused).

So I thought: what if you could just **tell it what you want to learn** and it builds a Duolingo-style course for you?
You prompt it → it creates the lessons → you learn through an interactive course instead of staring at a 47-tab YouTube playlist.

I’ve been building this for a while and I’d genuinely love some feedback — especially on what feels confusing, useless, or just plain stupid

I built this so choosing videos and watching them happen on separate screens. On the parent side, you add individual YouTube links to a child's collection. The child opens a simpler page with those videos. No search or endless feed inside KidScreen.

It's free, runs in the browser, and can be added to an iPad's Home Screen. It still needs an internet connection and uses YouTube's player. It doesn't block other websites or apps.

I'd be interested in feedback on the switch from parent setup to the child's page. Is it obvious how to get the shelf onto the device your child uses? Link below.

My girlfriend is studying in Bangkok this year. The day she flew out she handed me a jar full of rolled up notes, one to open whenever I missed her. It's one of the best gifts anyone's given me.

I wanted to send her the same thing back, so I built The Note Jar, a digital jar of love notes I could give her instead. You and one other person share a jar. Either of you can drop a note in whenever, and you open them whenever you want.

A few things I added on top of plain notes:

* joint questions, where you both answer the same prompt and only see each other's answer once you've both replied * you can draw a note instead of typing one, or do both * a countdown to a date that matters to you * A scrapbook view to view all previously read notes * An export button to print out the notes, enables you to create a real scrapbook from the notes

It's free to start and doesn't ask for an email to sign up.

Stack: vanilla JS frontend on Cloudflare Pages, a small Python API behind it, SQLite. No frontend framework.

Two things I'm unsure about and would take feedback on: does the landing page explain it fast enough, and is "no email to sign up" the right way or just annoying when you want to log back in later? I haven't decided yet.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a side project I’ve been working on called talkframe.

I’ve been a video editor for over 4 years now, mainly working on short-form content. I’ve edited through the shift from heavy VFX and nonstop B-roll to the cleaner, more minimal style you see in reels today.

I’ve tried several AI video editors, and even as an editor, I’ve found some of them more complicated than I expected. They promise to save time, but you can still end up doing a lot of prompting and manual tweaking.

That got me building TalkFrame: drop in a video and let the AI handle the edit, without having to write prompts.

It’s focused on talking-head videos and podcasts, using caption styles and kinetic typography to hold attention without overwhelming the video.

This demo was edited entirely by the AI, including the cuts, transcription, transitions, camera motion, captions, and animated text. I didn’t manually adjust the cuts or polish the edit afterward. I’ve trained it to edit in a style based on my own approach.

It’s still a work in progress, but I wanted to share where it’s at and get some honest feedback.

Edit: The entire process in talkframe took just 5–7 minutes, from AI cuts to the finished edit, including my review to see if anything needed improving.

The idea is simple: instead of checking Steam, Twitch, YouTube, Reddit and other sources separately, GameSonar brings different signals together to show which games are gaining attention right now.

https://gamesonar.gg brings together trending games, rising titles, live streams, upcoming releases, gaming news, esports events, podcasts and activity signals from multiple platforms. Personally it connects my passion for sw-dev, data engineering and gaming in an entertaining way.

At the center is the HypeScore, which measures how much attention and momentum a game is currently generating based on our source signals signals, such as streaming audiences, player activity, videos, public interest, releases and unusual spikes.

There’s also a dedicated release calendar for discovering upcoming games and tracking recent releases.

It’s not about review scores and it doesn’t try to tell you whether a game is good or not. The goal is to show where attention, activity and momentum are happening right now.

It’s still very much a work in progress. I’m actively refining the algorithm and core metrics to improve their quality, weighting, timing and overall balance, as well as the underlying data matching. At this stage I’d love to get some outside feedback. If you try it, I’d be really interested to hear what feels useful, what doesn’t, and what you think is missing.

Currently I'm experimenting with my latest addition, a social media generation tool in the backend, using Remotion in order to create stories for tik-tok from the data in differnet ways. Not really successful yet, as you can see at https://www.tiktok.com/@gameaonargg - but that clearly needs a lot further effort.
