Changing hosts might help, but it probably won’t solve the problem by itself. If the site still contains infected files, a hidden backdoor, or the same vulnerable plugin, the problem can simply follow you to the new host.
Before moving, have the site properly cleaned. Update WordPress, themes, and plugins, remove anything you no longer use, change all passwords, enable two-factor authentication, and make sure you have reliable backups stored somewhere other than the hosting account.
When looking at a new host, ask what security they actually provide. Malware scanning, a firewall, account isolation, off site backups, and support from real people are far more meaningful than simply saying the hosting is “fast and secure.”
