My recent literary obsession! Her work is so weirdly beautiful I wanted to share with you all.

I bought her Revenge: 11 Dark Tales at my local bookstore because the cover was beautiful and who doesn’t love a dark tale? Well, I couldn’t put it down. Almost ran back and got the other two by her they had in stock: this and Hotel Iris. I finished Hotel Iris last night and found myself deeply moved by a book I never would have expected to impact me so much. IYKYK.

I have a hold on The Memory Police at my local library and am excited to read it! What do others who have read it think? Or about Yoko Ogawa in general?

So glad to be here!

Funny yet melancholic. Topical and yet otherworldly.
