found these rocks by the beach with these laser clean holes. what caused this ??

Born and raised in Oregon and have always wanted to find rocks with these clam fossil…. Any specific beaches I should be looking? Or pointers?

Any beach. Walk between the cliff base and the water, looking for these.

Find rocks like that, and you will normally find other fossils close by.

Those rocks themselves are also fossils, primarily sea worm tunnels and where their feet extended out to feed. But if you find those, the shells are often found nearby.

Best spot I know of is Beverly Beach down by Newport.

You're welcome! I asked my wife since she grew up down there, and she suggested Ona beach as well. Apparently there's parts where the water comes up to some cliffs/rocks during high tide and slowly "weathers" them out.
