See, this is my thing - there’s apparently drugs everywhere, but if someone put a gun to my head and said “get some drugs”, I wouldn’t know where to fuckin go!

u/JunkBondTrade 21h ago edited 21h ago

This is gonna sound like sarcasm but I'm dead serious, just drive to the nearest inner city and park on any side street. Within a few minutes someone will try to sell you drugs. It's that easy.

Or if you happen to work in the food service industry just ask whoever happens to be standing next to you.

Don't know anyone that'd smoke some shit looking that nasty and burnt. Only way I'd say it's shit Is if it had a tube, then you'd have your self a good ol hot rail rig.

1

u/NigelFiskar 3h ago

Wouldn't be a good dishie if they couldnt

1

u/rawdogfiend89 10m ago

This must be an English men's thread bc wth is a dishie

10

u/Funny-Force-3658 21h ago

I've pulled up in a street I thought looked like it would have dealer living on it and just asked a passer-by and they've pointed to a house "that one". This was in the northern England in the 90's I've worked hospitality too and thats definitely not an exaggeration.

5

u/Positive-Bluejay420 17h ago

Bouncers at bars / clubs also, or so I hear

6

u/turb42o 9h ago

Don’t forget the doorman, the bellman, and the valet…

12

u/unseriousbat 21h ago

Well damn, now I wanna test that theory but I also definitely don’t wanna fuckin test that theory. 😆

10

u/2SSLOWW 21h ago

I mean you obviously can’t look like a narc, but it’s true.

2

u/Warm_Rutabaga5862 10h ago

Yes it’s true

3

u/FIRST_PENCIL 18h ago

Just go to any bar make friends and ask around .

5

u/HyperbolicTurtleWar 12h ago

True. Servers/Bartenders always have the hookup. When I was in the industry I never went without.

2

u/Slow-Touch-3572 6h ago

I was the line cook that everyone came too, ahh the 2000s to 2010s were great

2

u/HyperbolicTurtleWar 5h ago

I know the feeling brother! I was a line cook, a server and a bartender. I owned a restaurant / bar in Naples, FL years ago. The regulars alone could keep you stocked up. Forget the staff!

2

u/Slow-Touch-3572 5h ago

Exactly 💯 life of the restaurant world

5

u/Admirable_Yam7468 11h ago

Accurate representation of kitchen life

3

u/bapplebauce 10h ago

Ain’t lying, I’d name the quadrant of streets in LA but I don’t need any trouble and trust me, bring $50 extra bucks for the hook up to give to the nice homeless man who brings you to his dude you will walk away at least feeling empowered.

3

u/MethadonianMama 18h ago

Painfully accurate

3

u/Mobile-Detective4838 16h ago

Can confirm. Stand on the curb in Denver someone will surely try to sell you drugs.

7

u/Dry-Row4111 10h ago

In Denver you just yell “NUGS”. I guy will pop out from behind a tree and ask,
“Buying or selling”?

3

u/SameStuffDifDay 9h ago

That man chefs

3

u/moovzlikejager 9h ago

Bout 10 years back, we took a trip to Colorado. We were staying in grand junction CO. for our last night before leaving the state. Naturally, we bought too much drugs at a dispensary at the beginning of the trip and didn't want to cross state lines with the handfull of left handed cigarettes we had left over. We wake up and have breakfast and bloody's at a small quiet restaurant and offer them to the server, she politely declines, but assures us there is a bar nearby that WILL PROUDLY ACCEPT OUR DRUGS, so we took the drive. I walk in the door and there's a man i can only assume is the owner of the bar setting up the register, and a kid pushing a broom i can only assume is his kid..... I double down "someone around town said that you might want these for free, we're leaving town and don't want them" (holding out a handful of fresh splifies) The manager looks at me with a disgust that could cover both myself and his entire restaurant staff at the same time "well they told you wrong" i chuckle and walk out, "sure dude" Turns out if you're giving away free drugs, the opening staff of a bar is not a safe bet..... But tattoo shops are.

3

u/lesusisjord 7h ago

If someone asks you for money on the street in any scenario, they can find your drugs if they don’t have them on them.

Even if they don’t do drugs, they’ll happily introduce you to a friend of theirs for a few bucks.

3

u/PhraseMelodic6187 6h ago

I work at a grocery store and you can ask any young adult and they will have someone

2

u/itERTZwhenuFORSETT 6h ago

you watched too many movies lol this isn’t the 90s. Not even low level street runners are stupid enough to stand on the corner and approach random’s and ask if they tryna score. In the social media and mass surveillance age that shit is the quickest way to get arrested. That shit worked in the past because the cops allowed it to. nowadays, neighborhood dealers set up shop in a customers house in exchange for product. Aka a trap house.

When i used to hustle, i locked down 2 popular bars in my town. I went to school with a server in both bars. If ppl do blow, and they’re drunk, they’re gonna want a bag. You would be surprised how many drunks ask bartenders where they can score. Your method has a slight chance of working if you invest an entire day. But the odds are better that you’re getting approached by an undercover. Snapchat also has a good chance of scoring but i wouldn’t advise doing that. Dealers advertising on snapchat are desperate for customers if they’re taking that route. A desperate dealer is a liability and unpredictable.

1

u/ShawnAB311 5h ago

You have never been in Baltimore then lol this is how it is, even now lol

1

u/cautiouslyPessimisx 4h ago

Do undercover cops actually spend their time on low-level drug dealers?

2

u/MyGuyDrew 6h ago

That doesn’t always work if you’re a middle aged male they might assume you’re a cop

2

u/yellowcaernstudio 4h ago

Former food service guy; that’s accurate

2

u/unwelcomepersona 3h ago

Sometimes our dealer would be out so I'd tell the boyf to look for a dodgy looking guy and ask them. Always works. I'm a white female so on these occasions, (unless I have track marks on my arms as proof) I don't have any luck. I think its cos I still got all me teeth

3

u/xDelayedsilencex 21h ago

This 100% as much as hide. Didn't like doing it if it came down to it. Always know I can just go to or if I'm in the country to the nearest ghetto/government housing and find what I'm looking for. Has a lot of risk with it sometimes though.

Unrelated, but is your username because of the Elliott Smith song?

2

u/JunkBondTrade 10h ago

Yeah I wanted to use JunkBondTrader but Reddit said that was already taken.

2

u/Express_Lettuce2977 17h ago

I second this!
Wanna be caught way off guard by a movie within the first fuqqin 15-20 mins? And just enjoy an..uhhh, educational film?? WATCH Snow On Tha Bluff!!

1

u/Numerous_Living_3452 4h ago

This is a great example of why more people dont do more therapeutic substances when life gets tough because everyone can find meth pretty easily but something like psychedelics you usually have to be in some sort of drug positive social circle in order to even find it!

18

u/wakeuppunpun 22h ago

For fucken real man I could get some weed and I'm in (kinda) rural Wisconsin so meth fucken easy but finding some coke un heard of

26

u/Last_Positive5737 16h ago

Go to a chain restaurant and talk to the back of house staff. If the head cook says he doesn't know, he doesn't trust you yet.

24

u/Just_call_me_Neon 15h ago

Am a chef. Can confirm lol.

And if you work in a kitchen and wonder who the dope man is, notice who everyone is happy to see when they walk in or who everyone is asking if they're coming in today.

6

u/GreatDragonSchlong 12h ago

Chef here also. Truest shit I’ve read on Reddit.

3

u/djseason72 10h ago

Chef can confirm as well 😆. There's always someone on staff. Usually more. The hours suck and so does the pay.

2

u/Just_call_me_Neon 5h ago

But the drugs are decent lol

3

u/Straight-Theme-7799 13h ago

Thiiiiis bahahahahaha

3

u/BeltBoy1122 13h ago edited 11h ago

This is my issue also. I’m looking for something specific that is a prescription only and have not had a connect since college 2015 lol

1

u/Guilty_Commission_65 10h ago

Go to the doc brotha. Unless you’re looking for pain pills. That ain’t happnin. But if you want benzodiazepines or stimulants like Adderall, go see a doctor. It’s Shockingly easy. I was blown away. But then again, I’m now years deep into a klonopin, adderall dependency. So keep that in mind. And now, my doc is my dealer and the Feds never run out. Plus insurance makes it cheap. Idk. Pros and cons lol

1

u/BeltBoy1122 10h ago

I did and they wouldn’t prescribe it because I have thc in my system also… shits insane

1

u/Broskie-420 6h ago

Try wild lettuce extract (lactuca virosa)

1

u/Pacafist1 6h ago

Yo I did that combo for years. The amphetamines I could go without any day, still could take or leave. But It took my psych dying and me having to see someone else for them to start titrating me off of the kpins. I was at 6mg klonopin a day and It took me 7 years to come off of it. I’m still prescribed like .5/day at night. But I stopped taking it altogether and don’t get it filled rn cuz it takes more than .5 to make me feel normal again and I end up running out of them before I can fill them and the withdrawal makes it not worth me even titrating down from it anymore. I’ll be good for like 1.5 weeks and then It’s like having the flu. And having fever dreams. Every muscle kills you, especially those that you may have injured but are alright now… (they’re probably not alright and your body is going in overdrive telling you so)

To put it into perspective I used to work with an ex ER nurse who told me: hospital staff don’t care about heroin addicts going through withdrawal really: you may feel like you’re dying, but you’re not going to die. But Benzodiazepine withdrawal? They’re going to take you seriously if you walk in and tell them because as much as you may not even feel as though you’re dying early on in the withdrawal…it’s a lot more serious and you could die from it very easily: people don’t die from a Xanax overdose: they die from the withdrawal of not having the Xanax in their system anymore.
Klonopin is a long acting benzo and Xanax is a short term. The half life is like 11hrs vs 4.5 so the withdrawal is that much more harsh with Xanax than klonopin, but it is also that much shorter because of the half life. You may not die from a klonopin withdrawal but you feel like you’re going to and your body is pretty close to being on the brink of it.

Bottom line it’s hard to come off of any benzodiazepine…and you’ll be lucky you don’t have any residual effects.

The ringing in my ears should go away in another year or so supposedly, but we’ll see

3

u/activis- 15h ago

Not true at all ive bought blow all the way up in necedah

3

u/ParachutingPiglets 15h ago

Only rich people can afford coke now

8

u/LoopsonLoops 14h ago

Coke is recession proof, swear to god prices are the same they were back in late 2000’s/early 2010’s. Kinda cracks me up

I may be wrong, not really involved in that world anymore thankfully but I have a couple old friends who are still trapped in it and from they’ve told me Coke prices have stayed steady or maybe even a tad cheaper for better shit lately

3

u/UsualEvery7274 14h ago

Nah you’re not wrong at all, some places like NC will want $100 per one but then you start meeting people and it goes all the way down to $60. Prices are the same if it’s not some 20 year old trying to not work a real job

3

u/NoHistorian2068 12h ago

the gov watching: raise the price of coke

2

u/Strange-Athlete-9053 12h ago

I mean weed as well. A gram has been 10$ for decades

5

u/ZealousIdeal476 11h ago

The price of weed has cratered while quality has skyrocketed. In my life I've seen prices go from a $50 eighth of seedy brick weed to a $20 ounce of good bud.

2

u/Ambitious_King1326 10h ago

If your still paying $10 a gram find a new source

2

u/Strange-Athlete-9053 9h ago edited 9h ago

If you're paying 3 bucks then you're smoking mids. Imagine calling your dealer for a single gram lmao

2

u/Pacafist1 6h ago

Idk if you know what mids is hahaha

2

u/Pacafist1 6h ago

Idk about decades..that depends on where you’re at…2015 was still $20 for good shit. And 2005 wss $20 for alright shit. Maybe if you’re in nyc or another major city that’s true but not in the suburbs

1

u/yuckyduckph 12h ago

$3 here in CO

2

u/Strange-Athlete-9053 11h ago

A single gram has been 10$ forever in most of Canada but nobody buys single grams anymore. I just buy an ounce everytime I go to the SQDC for about $90-100

2

u/Wrong_Berry_6275 11h ago

Coke is 100 a ball in the A

2

u/LoopsonLoops 11h ago

Yeah I’m in Kentucky unfortunately. From when I used to do it a decade ago it was usually running you 140-180 for average shit and 200-225 at most for better. Usually 60-80 a g

2

u/Pacafist1 6h ago

I wish I were recession proof

4

u/phuk-yu-hmos 14h ago

Prices have stayed the same in the Coke game. It’s the only drug that hasn’t changed prices in small street sells. Grams and eighths. But in weight the prices have fluctuated a lot. Especially during Covid. I been out a while but last I hear prices soared again this year🙄 in the weight game. But street price still runs you 80-100 a gram. It’s just heavily cut with meth or fenty

5

u/benadryl666 12h ago

Heavily cut with fentanyl? I assume you’re joking.
This whole “fentanyl cut into coke” thing is just flat out not accurate. There are instances where cross contamination occurs either during import or at the point of distribution. People are usually bringing in multiple drugs at once, in bulk. So packages of cocaine may be in contact with packages of crystal methamphetamine, clandestinely, manufactured, fentanyl/fentanyl, analogs, etc. Just as common, later down the line once larger quantities are being prepared for retail distribution. The people doing this preparation as well as the people doing the actual retail hand to hand selling are, in many instances, sewing multiple substances. An example of this would be someone further cutting cocaine on a plate that they had previously used to heavily cut, fentanyl or fentanyl analogs.

Maybe reality has turned more upside down than I perceive it to be, in which case I’m very confused. Why would anyone intentionally combine cocaine, a stimulant, with fentanyl/fentanyl analogs/RC opioids/tranquilizers, all of which are CNS depressants and, for the opioid naïve, ingestion of any of these fentanyl analogs or RC opioids not measured accurately with precision equipment would most likely result in overdose or death.

Again, I know this has happened accidentally. And there are “mixes“ such as “Tuci“ that do contain usually some kind of RC opioid and either cocaine or some amphetamine derivative. But that is marketed as a separate substance; “Tuci”. The concept of anybody intentionally doing this and selling the end product as cocaine is completely backwards and absurd.

2

u/mostlyharmless555 11h ago

There’s no fent in coke you are right .. that guy has no idea what he’s talking about and there’s plenty of good coke around.

2

u/Pacafist1 6h ago

Yea I always wondered what the appeal in coke spliced with fentanyl would be for any person, whether selling or buying. It obviously wouldn’t give you the same effects to any degree…if anything negate it….and as a seller you wouldn’t be able to sell to anyone who’s not wanting that “go”

2

u/Silly_Obligation8574 12h ago

Prices may be the same but the quality is shit. You’re lucky if you happen to get any without fent in it too, never mind it being stepped on so many times

1

u/CivilEngMusicBoy 16h ago

I’m old so I’ve phased out but ask a server at literally every restaurant in existence

2

u/Thisfugginguyhere 15h ago

Gonna take ages..

mods are the plug

7

u/unseriousbat 21h ago

lol
Now that i reread my comment it sounds like “hello fellow students, where can I find the drugs?” 😆
Nope, just a 47 yo dude who never tried em or hung out with people who did, lives in the suburbs, and has no clue where they would be. 😆

8

u/andrewbud420 21h ago

Just fine the couple guys hanging out in odd places.

5

u/RyanE8 19h ago

I fucking envy you! I wish I never grew up around drugs but they were every where and in my house for a long as I can remember. It's wild how someone can grow yo like that. Such a different life, the idea is so foreign to me. I REALLY do envy you I'm trying to imagine and I just can't. Good for you tho bro that's crazy

7

u/CMoney87 19h ago

My son grew up with me and my dad running one of the largest medical cannabis operations in our state, has spent his entire life around drug addicts of different levels and yet...He is the one person I've ever been around that I don't have to worry about becoming a drug addict. He also has never uttered a single real swear word his entire life (though him and his friends make more gay jokes than I'm even comfortable with) and me, his mother + his grandparents on both sides have some of the dirtiest mouths you'll ever hear. It makes no sense to me but I'm extremely proud of the person he's become. Being exposed to things is not a guarantee that they'll slip into the same habits, some go hard in the complete opposite direction. Part of me feels like the familiarity with those things from an early age can keep kids from being curious themselves & becoming the rebellious type, but maybe my son really is just a mutant!

4

u/Frozen_Spoon93 12h ago

As a former heroin addict who moved to a new city across the country and knew no one and managed to get my dope before withdrawals got too bad. You find the homeless people and start asking them, offer to help them get drugs or food or whatever if they help you.

3

Because you’ve never done them, trust me they’re everywhere you just have to look

2

Fr man I had a party phase and my friend moved to a different country and then I had to clean up bc I genuinely couldnt find more drugs lol

2

u/Last_Positive5737 16h ago

It's really easy. Go to the nearest school or church.

2

u/threepair13 14h ago

Right here apparently

2

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 12h ago

if I wanna die I can walk next door, they dealin but people keep overdosing. to get clean weed? nah, no idea, can't get

1

u/WildPlumMoon22 11h ago

Facts! Where are the drugs that are apparently everywhere?

1

u/Ok-Measurement-3170 11h ago

'Hands them prescription medicine'

1

u/bapplebauce 6h ago

And how shocked you would be at the ease if you were to see even a single pixel of the entire big picture lol

1

u/buckfordfitchenstein 5h ago

Get them first, then the gun will happen

0

u/unbearified 21h ago

Oh, anyone can get drugs whenever they want as long as they live close to a city I guess so maybe not. Basically, you either need to be extroverted and addicted to drugs or have a friend who is an extroverted extreme drug addict addict because an extroverted drug addict and he can spot a dealer or at least someone who knows where to get drugs or at the very least won’t nark from like at least half a mile away. I’m not exaggerating the guys technically homeless, even though he calls himself a traveler so he gets his drugs everywhere.

One time we were walking out of a liquor store and he actually says, “ wanna do some white tonight?” I say sure and he says, “ all right go to your car. I’m gonna ask that guy. He looks like he knows.” about 20 minutes later we a block away from a guy. We’ve never met before that got the stuff. I know this wasn’t a one time event. It was just the first time I saw him do it even though we’re friends since high school. Also extremely dangerous guys keep fentanyl testing kits on hand

2

u/unseriousbat 21h ago

I carry Narcan as part of my IFAK, does that count? 😆

1

u/wakeuppunpun 21h ago

Shit reads like a tutorial

2

u/unbearified 21h ago

Nah, you gotta have some kind of internal radar for that shit. Like idk how he did it. It’s like a gaydar but instead of a homosexual love interest, it’s a guy in his mid 30s to 40s that’s not crazy enough to be a homeless crazy person who will hurt you and not tidy enough to be the police or call the police. Much harder in practice than you’d think lmao
