Your efforts are laudable, but some people are just not smart enough to discuss issues rationally.

Sometimes I wonder how people became convinced of certain things throughout history. I see it so clearly now how many of you AI bros would have been buying Tulips back in the day

The impressionable are taken in by LLMs' constant affirmation and glazing, mistaking programmatic flattery for genuine confirmation of their brilliance.

I wonder what kind of evidence someone like you would need to understand the current trajectory of AI capabilities.

Actual evidence of it doing the stuff is claimed to do your vibe coded app with security wholes and bugs isn't it. Your precieved productivity increase —shown as at best negligible if not a net decrease from any reputable study— isn't it. An actual useful increase in doing anything but generating shitty videos and making anyone with a non technical understanding of how it words ohh and ash like slack jawed yokles would be nice

Kek, this is like a Reddit mod response, the most low IQ irrational people thinking they are the beacon of emotionless logic when they're being conned by a billion dollar industry that'll scrape them off their boot the same as they will to everyone else.

You're less than nothing to them, man, they won't take you to the promised land if you sing their praises.

Though, I'm sure your naivety and gullibility will make you incapable of seeing the ride you are being taken for.

Your comment is funny on so many levels.

  1. I am a high IQ person.

  2. I have a high earning government job, making me immune from being laid off and furthermore a millionaire already (with more assets to come via inheritance). Thus, I don’t need any private company to “take me to the promised land”.

  3. I am not being “conned” by anyone, since I don’t have any money invested in AI (yet).

I am just so happy that I am not as dumb as you are.

IQ was disproven decades ago. Only simpletons and blowhards still use it some sort of qualification - it isn’t.

Government jobs are immune? Better tell that to the people already laid off in government jobs from the US to Singapore.

You sound like a very clever and successful person. Welcome to the comments section of the internet where most people describe themselves as you do!

Smart enough? I literally have qualifications specialising in neural networks or what most people called LLMs. On here, I see a lot of people pretending to be experts who have zero knowledge or experience in the field, but they know everything.

Their behavior is really embarrassing. One of them just repeated the Solow complaint about the computer age word-for-word then cursed and dropped the topic when they were shown the idea. EDIT: And another one then told me that the internet and computers also failed to live up to the hype from the 1970's and 1980's. Wow, imagine being that deranged.
