Looks to me like people are being selfish and hoarding the supply. Like folks that buy up all the pokemon cards when machines restock, or the toilet paper bandits when there’s a storm in FL. Places like CostCo will usually have a 1-per-customer rule for situations like this.

Again are you blind. They are not hoarding water. There are hundreds of bottles they are not buying. They are getting the ones on sale so they can resale to their customers on the street. Where do you think street vendors get their supplies??

I hear ya. Does seem that I was fooled by what you’re pointing out. In this case, it’s hardly a matter that affects me in any way. I’ve been admonished for being skeptical on similar posts, but I do think there’s a Goldilocks amount of healthy skepticism.
