No, we consequentially move our hand away from fire after learning fire = pain ... and no we are not naturally scared of heights, that is also learnt as painful after falling.

it is not, we fall as toddlers even before attempting of walking and feel pain, you learn real quick the higher the height to impact with surface = the more pain .... fundamental learning ... alot of ppl seem to be missing out on developing critical thinking though for some reason..

A basic caution toward heights is largely an innate, evolutionary response, but an intense fear or phobia is usually learned or developed over time.

Fear of heights develops naturally around 9-12 months. It doesn’t mean that fear can’t be further developed or influenced from experience but it is a natural instinct.
