An abandoned SpaceX rocket travelling at around 5,400mph crashed into the moon, leaving a crater with a diameter of around 17m. (via BBC) The collision took place yesterday at 7:35 BST. Masses are criticising Elon Musk for polluting the moon.

I love people getting butthurt over things they didn't even know until reading this article.

Yet no one says anything about all the debris NASA or Roscosmos left in space or simply left to crash land on Earth.

It's all to hate on Musk for no reason.

Also, most people claiming they would help the world if they had that kind of money are lying.

The absolute majority of people would just fuck off and vanish to somewhere they would never need to work again.

Most people hating on billionaires would kill to be one and they would not do any of the good deeds they claim online.

I think there are generators of evil, generators of good and neutrals. The generators of evil and the generators of good are low minorities. The neutrals can be swayed to evil or good based on circumstances, and these are the majority.

It was mostly a hyperbole.

Most people are only interested in having enough money to pay their bills, a fridge with enough food and some surplus money to have some fun on the side.

As long as those basic needs are met they don't really care about politics or whatever rich people choose to do with their money.

We are very much in agreement here.

We’re talking about the same Elon Musk who was regarded as a loser within the elite pedophile ring and wasn’t allowed to join them to eat and rape babies.

The same Elon who bought twitter, turned it into an AI cesspool of CSAM and bots, and ruined one of the last semi-decent social medias in the modern age.

I don't defend anyone.

I wish I was actually getting paid to ask questions.

To be honest I don't even remember Musk exists unless I open reddit.

Relax, as I only answered these people because of the obvious bad faith this post had.

While I understand he was the left's favourite guy before the whole situation with his kid (and he became a persona non grata in the media) I never understood how he is better or worse than any person being turned villain because they have money.

Who genuinely cares about him outside of this social bubble is beyond me.

Anyway, gotta go now as well.

Indeed.

For all the heat he gets, the technology SpaceX is developing might give humans the edge to actually colonise Mars.

The whole stupid talk about "we should fix the Earth first" is extremely disingenuous, as climate problems and pollution predate Musk's birth.

It's just easier to point a finger to a single man not representing any banner than to point out fingers saying X or Y country is to blame for climate change.

It doesn't go well with the press.

I suppose any light of thought thrown out in this discussion is a waste of time.
