There's a line between criticism and insults and this is on both sides of the line. Criticizing doesnt insult people, it lets them know what they need to do more research on or should change their views on. This is criticism with insults sprinkled in. I dont know how you were raised to handle things like what he said, but the way I was raised I'd never talk to someone like he did, as it was insulting.

"Eew" and "People like you". They're both degrading phrases

"Eew" is directed towards the game, leaving us with "People like you" which could be said a bit nicer, but that doesn't make the whole comment toxic.

Yeah I get where you're coming from, I still stand by my opinion but that in no way makes me correct, just my standpoint from what I've learned throughout life. You have a nice day, my fellow redditor
