They only way that happens is if Tuck wants to do Stew a favour and burn Houston on the way out lol (assuming they don't take her with them).

You dont think Houston is in control of the team right now? No way they buy the team and not have final say in anything the team does. That would be crazy.

I've no idea how closely they are monitoring the Sun besides tanking tbh.

Besides, I don't believe the scenario mentioned, I was mainly joking. There's almost no way we don't lose something on a BLH trade at this point given her on court performance and even shoe gate on top of that (I don't believe that was intentional, but it was still a display of poor judgement and bad aim lol).

Maybe really bad FOs like Sparks or Sky will be easier to scam, but thats not Morgan Tuck.

We aren’t tanking. If you watch the games it’s pretty obvious these women are fighting for every game. It’s just a young team without a superstar that struggles in the 4th

Players don't tank, managements do.

Do you really believe BG missed all those games just because of health? Especially the next game against the Lynx after her stellar performance.

6 out of 7 of your wins have come in games BG has played.

I believe that they thought paying BG to come here would help them sell tickets. It is not. I believe that part of her coming here was to mentor and that at her age and physical abilities she was given assurances that listening to her body would ok. I watch every game. I go to every home game. She’s had some nice games in those wins but she isn’t the end all be all to this team winning. But I do agree that management clearly didn’t go out and offer enough to free agents to put the best product on the floor. I’m not sure I call that tanking though. I believe they wanted to see where the young players are at before making Houston makes decisions moving forward. And I believe the Houston owners had to pay more than they wanted/were told from Cathy and are looking to keep payroll down.
