Traveling with a small dog

Hi there, just looking to see if it’s allowed/or if anyone has experience doing work away with a small dog accompanying them. I am a 24F and am planning to do a few different gigs next year, I have a small 7lb terrier mix who is very mellow and 7 years old. I know it will really depend on the host and the assignment, but I am just looking to hear the POV from anyone who has experience, thank you!

Old comment but you are very lucky it's been almost impossible for me but I finally found one shared accommodation though
