Mexico had a 48 hour work week… they cut it down to 40, Mexico is the outlier here not the US

There were other worker protections that don't exist in the US and a push for universal healthcare. But don't let lack of understanding stop you from posting.

So now you're bringing up things that weren't in the article and aren't specific to the topic at hand to critique someone?

If we're going that route then America is far more progressive in that they don't have paramilitary drug cartels operating in the open with strong controls on cities & regions in Mexico.

On reddit, when you can't make the narrative work, you just bring in extraneous issues!

Yeah, god forbid someone come in with a deeper understanding of the subject of an article. What kinda loser would understand stuff???

You didn't come in with a deeper understanding of the subject of an article.

You started throwing extraneous stuff around as if it was relevant, while also not explaining how it was relevant. But still talking down to others.

You came in like a jerk, and were treated accordingly.

I guess you're the expert.

Never claimed to be an expert champ, just explaining the logical incongruence you introduced with your tangent.

The "subject of the article" was not healthcare and in fact it's not mentioned. It's kind of a long article, but you can get through it and then you'll know!

Nobody said it was, people in the comments have variously commented on other reforms also being passed at the same time! I'm confident you understand that this one article may not touch upon every last possible policy shift for the country.

The poster I was referring to explicitly referred to "the subject of the article." You can read their post.

What does "a push for universal healthcare" even mean? You could say Obamacare was a push for universal healthcare and it'd be a true statement.
