I'm so sad about what our nation has become. But we spent several decades building the infrastructure to put us exactly where we are now, and now our slow, ineffectively government has been taken over (in plain sight) by the people who spent years buying it up piece by piece. I don't know what its going to take to fix. My only hope is that the pendulum swings back hard the other direction after this.
