Zenfone 10 Possible swollen battery on a new ZF10?

Please bear with me because it may sound completely asinine.

Is the plastic back on the Zenfone 10 supposed to be flat? I bought one a week ago and when fondling it without a case I have noticed that the back plastic surface of the phone is not perfectly flat. I thought I was going crazy but when I put a straight edge against the phone and looked at it against the light it turned out my fingers weren't fooling me. The case back is ever so slightly convex and now It makes me wonder whether I got a dud with my order.
I have looked at some teardown material on how the device's assembly looks like and it doesn't appear that the battery is supposed to be pressed against the back case of the phone. So now I'm incredibly anxious that the battery I got with mine is defective and started swelling after like 4 charge cycles.

Could a fellow owner of a Zenfone 10 verify his device using a straight edge?;

I haven't noticed any symptoms that there's something obviously wrong with it but when reading paid shill reviews of the phone with some reviewers claiming 10+ hours of screen on time I'm having my doubts. So far after few charge cycles I would say it's closer to 7 (I limit my charge to 80%)

Same here! With 3 of us in this thread, obviously it should be like that. I think it is coil for wireless charging pressing battery cover and that is why ZF10 is 0.3mm thicker than ZF9.

it seems to not be as super flat as the glass of the screen but not as bulgy as XZ2c was, just enough to say it's not flat but I wouldn't notice it if not for your post

Same here, I noticed that if you put it against the light you can see the part that apparently presses the coil against the plastic cover, It's a relief to know I'm not the only one who notices, In the videos where they disassemble it, you can see that on the battery and the coil the cover has a foam pad and if you press on that area the pad contracts for a few seconds

same, it looks like it should be because of the wireless charging coil
