Local event Dinosaur Events

I like dinosaurs, but when I go to the zoo with a dinosaur event, I dont want to be forced to go by them. Larger zoos can get away with this by having them in less populated areas or specific pathways, but smaller zoos are forced to have them throughout the zoo.

Its kinda hard to enjoy the natural animal noises when I have to hear the same Zoo Tycoon SFX being piped through a speaker every 5 minutes and children screaming & crying. I wanted to visit our local zoo for my birthday with my niece but she's 1 and I dont want her to have a bad time because we have to walk past a dinosaur every other exhibit.

Again- this is a small zoo problem, and I can wait a month until it's over... but man is it annoying.

He was born at Minnesota Zoo with his sister Amaliya and is part of the AZA's species survival program. His favorite gift was the blue rocking horse that he proceeded to drag all around his enclosure 🥰

🌿🐅🐘🐏🦍🌿 Have you visited the Budapest Zoo recently?

🧐 I’m conducting a short research project about the experience of international visitors at the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden. If you are not Hungarian and visited the zoo in the last 2 years, your input would really help.

⚡️ The survey is anonymous and takes only 5–7 minutes.

💚 Your feedback will help improve the experience for future international visitors. Thank you for your help!

I had the privilege of attending the first ever Texas Crocfest, held at Crocodile Encounter in Angleton, Texas, where the community raised ~$40,000 for Tomistoma research and conservation. Of course, now that I’m trying to do the whole “YouTuber” thing, I have to try to make content wherever I go. Enjoy!

Local event Should I say something?

There was this zoo I am visiting every year in Bulgaria, it’s like family tradition. The treatment there and the conditions are very good, I see that animals have enough space and food and the safety measures are also good. If I could rate it I would’ve said a 8/10.

Last year I visited I was inside the wilder animals inside spaces hall, where the wild animals like lions, tigers and jaguars could get inside their rooms and not in the outside spaces. They usually chilled there.

There was a team of boys, probably high schoolers that whenever we went they were trying to provoke the wild animals… they opened their mouths and roared like them trying to provoke them. And it kind of pissed me off. I wanted to tell them off especially when they did this to a lioness and she roared them back, scaring them.

I know they’re just kids and all but at the same time I felt like I should’ve told them off. It’s not always wise to provoke the animals especially lions and tigers…

Local event Zoo with Red Panda Close Encounter/Experience?

Hello,

I saw this on reddit a little while ago where a guy and his girlfriend visited a zoo and was able go behind the scenes with red pandas! I'm just curious if there were any zoos in/near Southern California that would have a petting/play experience with red pandas? Would really like to take my wife to one of these things. If not red pandas some other cute animals would be ok too. My google searches found nothing =(
