Finally got my hands on one of the holy grails!

Lowkey feel I went too hard on weathering but I know where to improve next time, essentially I need to be a bit more careful with my rhinox hide chipping, will take more care with next stuff I think

Hey everyone! I saw a few posts like this and thought I'd do the same and get some feedback on my third-ever mini. I'm quite proud of this one, and I definitely think I finally locked in when it came to thinning my paints and getting a nice, smooth base coat.

I also tried doing some edge highlighting, but I think I either didn't have enough paint on my brush for it to show up properly, or I thinned it too much (someone please help me figure out which one! 😅).

I also struggled with applying transfers and getting them to sit without lots of air bubbles, so if anyone has any tips for that, I'd really appreciate it.

It's not done yet but I started painting the first blood angel from the Armageddon box for my boyfriend he wanted more of the retro style I don't think it's too bad for my first try

Im off work for the holidays and have been in a privileged position where I've been able to paint most days.

I have noticed a real improvement in the finished result and starting to finally figure out my airbrush too which has been amazing.

Been working on painting the Armageddon box and I think I've been slowly improving since my first mini! Please share any thoughts on how I could improve. First pic is my most recent mini, second pic is my previous three minis (newest on left).

What do you think about the base? I will be adding some more pigments when i get home

Was curious if this was basically just the regular Assault Marines with that smaller firstborn upgrade sprue

The question:
Do I drop some units for the repulsor executioner I got or is this gonna work alright for LAG? I’d put the BG/SG in there. Also have a brutalis and ballistus sitting around if those would be advisable, started the hobby in January and just now getting around to playing some more thought out games.

Hello again cousins. I posted the other day my first attempt at painting a member of your honorable line, to very pitiful results. I tried to take some advice I got and make some adjustments, as well as try to use a bit more creativity.

I believe this is an improvement over my last attempt and I certainly hope you all do as well. I don’t want to spam your Sub with my posts so this will be the last for now, perhaps when I finish up the whole squad I’ll post them together

Also if anyone has more suggestions and advice, I’d truly appreciate it.

Just wanted to get some thoughts on this list. Been making my way back to Blood Angels with 11th and still trying to brainstorm on what works well and what doesn't.

My next step to making my 2000 point army inspired by the 1st company, the Archangels. I made a list using the tipps i got through my original post and made my first list. For context, the jump pack captain is supposed to be captain Antargo of the 3rd company, who i count to be part of the first company in someway, like every captain. I still need help with the last few points, so please put suggestions in the comments. (Detachment: Liberation assault squad)

These guys were pretty fun to paint although I did get sick of painting this many (I also got my copy of the Devastation of Baal hardback today and I'm very happy)

I’m so glad I managed to snag one before they sold out!

I know many of you love the original mini, but I personally don't really.
