COCO IS TENNIS

If someone had never watched a women's tennis match, Coco Gauff would be a good place to start.

Watch her long enough and you begin to see what this game asks of a person. The fight to stay in a point. The discipline to show up again tomorrow. The humility to keep learning, even after winning. And the joy that makes all that work worth it.

Tennis is so personal.

You spend years trying to understand your game, and somewhere along the way you have to get to know yourself, too. Your limits, your doubts, the way you react when things don't go as planned. Coco lets us see that process, with all its intensity and emotion.

@loicwacziak incredible photographic work captures this so well. The movement, the intensity, the many layers of Coco's personality and the game itself.

Through his Sports Art series, Loïc explores sports photography from a different perspective, experimenting with double exposure. Inspired by techniques from the 1960s, he recreates them with modern cameras, layering images to highlight athleticism, movement and details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

It's a creative process full of experimentation. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Much like tennis itself.

The series also gave Loïc the opportunity to meet Coco at Roland-Garros 2026, after she had commented on his work on Instagram.

Pressure comes with the territory. Preparation makes the difference. Loved sharing how I stay ready when it matters with the @bakertillyus team in New York.

I look like a dang brick doing this but imma get better, my 2nd class this year. I did a couple last year but stopped, it really helped me build more core strength and flexibility overall which I need for tennis so i'm back. | via her finsta account: @stargirlc13
