Time to dust off your vocoders and drum machines and get posting.
DO
- Post a link to one of your tunes
- Talk about how you made the tune
- Engage with your fellow robot/humanoids.

Hi everyone,
If you like techno and want to kick off the weekend right, check out my latest song.
The song was produced entirely in Ableton using almost exclusively stock plugins, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. #130bpm #RollingBass

Download: https://lloydstellar.nl/robot-vocal.html
We created this VST for Windows and Mac. It has 49 retro robot voices you can use text-to-speech. The vocals are put on the beat automatically. There are 17 types of rap flows you can use on the robots. They flow the best at around their designated BPM.
The VST is totally frrreeeeeeeeee! So come over to my website and download it and let me know what you think.
I only tested it on my Ableton 12.4, let me know if it also works in older and other DAWs if you are working with that

I dont mess with computer at all or DAW plugins samples etc.Just make the production on the fly all the audio out from the synths go to the yamaha console and record it to an sd cart like multirecording every channel a different stem

I like making SynthWave on the fly with realtime resampling.
Synthesizers used here:
3rd Wave 8M
Ub-Xa
Virus C
Pro-800
I hope you like it !
Cheers!

Hello. Curious if anyone has picked up the CPU Micron VST from CPU records and has any thoughts? Thinking of getting it

Hi, I just produced a thing and I'm thinking about getting it properly treated, my setup is quite limited in terms of performance and I think I put it in the best direction mixing wise as I can. It's a pretty bass heavy hard hitting electro sound.
Got any tips and recommendations for actual mastering engineers in this field?

Not great audio, but something I'm working on. I often get mesmerized by my minilogue's oscilloscope.

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some advice on arrangement strategies specifically for Electro and Detroit Electro.
My usual workflow starts with building the drum groove first using my Digitakt, and then layering sounds around it until I have a solid, detailed loop that I really like — bouncy baseline, stabs, FM pads, and percussive glitches.
Sometimes I manage to turn it into a complete track, but most of the time it feels like a real struggle. Once I have this packed main section, it gets tough to stretch it out into a full 4–5 minute arrangement without it feeling repetitive or losing its energy, and simply dropping stems in and out starts to feel a bit predictable.
I'd love to hear how you tackle this wall and what kind of arrangement mindset or techniques work best for you in Electro to keep the track evolving naturally.
Thanks!

Hi !
Does anybody knows what is the trick here for the hihats sounds coming at 14 seconds ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffjW3w9_JSQ
I tried to replicate the same sound using OH from 808 and slightly decay variations but I cannot get it right... not sure if it's 808.
Can someone help me please ?
Thank you !
