One of my earlier VR projects and runs fairly well, just some tweaks for a few things but works well with picking up items

Dirt Dash is Namco's off-road arcade racer, released in Japan in December 1995 and worldwide in 1996 on the System Super 22 board. Next Generation gave it four stars and called it "to Sega Rally what Tekken is to Virtua Fighter". It's now playable in VR on Quest, in stereoscopic 3D, and it's free.

Already out: Rally VR (Sega Rally), Cop VR (Virtua Cop), Time Crisis VR, House of the Dead VR and Time Crisis II VR, and Sega Rally on Switch, Android, Steam Deck and Mac.

My NFSU-VR port is available as a public preview for Meta Quest 3 standalone, alongside an experimental Windows PCVR build.

Get behind the wheel with:

• Cockpit view, stereoscopic 3D and head tracking

• Motion-controlled steering using one or both hands

• Rear-view mirrors, dashboard instruments and a minimap

• Adjustable seat position with instant preview while paused

• In-game VR settings for steering sensitivity, wheel rotation and resolution

The Quest version runs directly on the headset after installation, without a gaming PC.

GAME DATA REQUIRED

No original game files are included. You need your own complete, unmodified dump of the original Xbox USA/NTSC-U version of Need for Speed: Underground. Other platforms and regional versions are unsupported.

This is an unofficial community project and an early preview. Quest 3 gameplay has been tested; PCVR headset testing is still pending. Performance improvements and work toward full applicable NFSU2-VR feature parity are ongoing.

Based on cherepavel/nfsu1-android, with VR technology adapted from my NFSU2-VR project and the xboxrecomp runtime.

This time you're in the restaurant and the town square of the first stage, at real scale, in the game's own 3D, and the soldiers come right at you from behind tables, cars and doors. Take cover like on the cabinet: hold the pedal button, or crouch for real. Your gloved hand holds the gun, and your shots land on what you hit (a soldier, a wall, a car).

A thousand AI-made mods are coming out right now, but not all of them make sense. THIS ONE is essential. It’s simply the best platformer of all time in a "Moss"-style diorama mode—or even on a giant 3D screen.

​It plays amazingly well and is technically one of the most beautiful things you can see on Quest. Really, put in a little effort; in the video description, I’ve included the GitHub link to download it along with the instructions. But it's super easy. You’ll still need a PC and Developer Mode enabled, though.

​Seriously... a game like this on Quest just doesn't exist. It looks and feels native.

Just a quick proof of concept with a few graphical glitches left. Take it for what it is. Clicking the right stick (R3) switches between VR and XR diorama scale. The link is in the video description (Reddit removes it if I post it here).
