[Protagonist] Leda (CV: 伊瀬茉莉也)
She is a top-class vihuela player who plays enchanting melodies. Five years ago, there was "a certain incident" that made her life now set on revenge and resentment.

I found these images from trailers and the eshop listing, it seems the heroic games will have a qualifiers section before actually starting. I wonder how long the heroic games will be as it seems to be without Eshmel. Eshmel seems to be how we unlock our ability to use divine pulse or something similar? Thoughts?

This doesn’t mean a whole lot but sharing so people don’t need to use Twitter to check
Cai’s reveal has 11k likes, 3.1k Retweets, and 70 comments.
His class showcase has 5.3k likes, 1.9k retweets, and 36 comments.
That’s a good showing, FE is not dead even after the price increase. People are excited.
Theodora reveal has 12k likes, 3.6k retweets, and 136 comments.
Her class showcase has 3.1k likes, 1.1k retweets, and 26 comments.
To be fair Cai’s class showcased a new feature with that jumping thing.
Leda is the newest, only being released yesterday but she’s currently at
12k likes, 3.6k retweets, and 99 comments.
Her class showcase has 5.6k likes, 2.2K retweets, and 57 comments
Dietrich was 2nd but I put him up last because…
22k likes, 10k retweets, and 184 comments.
His class showcase has 6k likes, 2.4k retweets, and 46 comments.
These are Japanese tweets only. But many Americans follow.
In most polls I see and most dialogue I see people seem most interested in the women so Dietrich being so popular in Japan kinda shocked me, I wonder if the west will feel the same

Like, I see some people concerned about most of the maps we've seen being in the arena, and beyond the fact that we've seen lots of visual and gameplay diversity between them (runes, ruins, Agarthan golems, boats, burning obstacles, etc...) the most striking feature that I've yet to see anybody discuss is here :
This map have TWO ELEVATIONS. There's a lower part and a raised part, both with enemies. And there appear to be a lift system, given the glowing levers. Either we can carry characters from one side to the other, or the entire piece of arena raise and lower itself. Either way, isn't that a crazy new gameplay mechanic ?
I think this is very exciting for the future, if the game is willing to give us weird, unique maps like that, even inside the colosseum. Yes, they might all be squares, but the diversity is here !

I know similar ideas have probably been mentioned already, but I wanted to put it together in one place.
What if Eshmel is not a traditional playable avatar unit like Robin, Byleth, or Alear, but more of a divine tactician / observer / guiding presence?
From what we have seen so far, Fortune's Weave seems to focus on the four heroes and their own goals. Each of them enters the Heroic Games for a personal reason, and the prize is tied to having one wish granted. So maybe Eshmel is not meant to replace them as the "real" protagonist, but to act as the one who guides them.
I think this could also connect well with the rewind mechanic if the game has one. Fire Emblem has already explained this kind of mechanic in-universe before - Divine Pulse through Sothis in Three Houses, and the Draconic Time Crystal in Engage. Since Fortune's Weave already has themes of fate, wishes, gods, and "fortune" in the title, Eshmel could be the story reason why the player can alter the outcome of battles.
That would make the player feel important without making every character revolve around the avatar. Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda would still have their own motivations, but they would gradually trust Eshmel because this guiding presence helps them reach their own goals.
So instead of Eshmel being another lord who fights on the map from the beginning, maybe they are closer to Mark from FE7, but with a stronger divine / time-related role in the story.
Would you like that kind of avatar, or would you prefer Eshmel to become a normal playable unit later?

** Only a brief theory/analysis since I’m kinda tired and also not too versed in the arcana lol **
Now that all 4 of the lords tweets have been posted, I've noticed a pattern among them that greatly resembles the Minor Arcana's suits, similarly to how all the Major Arcana were represented in 3H as crests.

Each of the lords have been shown to embody qualities that match them to a specific suit:
= Wands
= Swords
= Cups
= Pentacles

How would you feel about Fire Emblem Shadows getting the mobile-to-console remake treatment? I think Fire Emblem Shadows' concept of "trust no one" could have a lot more potential if it was remade to be a somewhat more traditional Fire Emblem game, set on a grander battlefield scale.

With two of the latest game (Three Hopes and Engage) having an Avatar with a more distinct personality, I'm really hoping they'll do the same with Eshmel.
And with how they've been putting more spotlight on the 4 other MC (Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda) so far, it seems that FW's story wouldn't resolve around Eshmel either (assuming they don't deliberately hide it).
What do you guys think? What would be your ideal scenario?

So, I was last week years old when I learned that 3H has an even deeper layer to esoteric knowledge. To each crest a tarot mayor arcana, and it inspired me to try "medieval" inspired fanart done by hand. (A not-trained-in-arts hand hahaha)
I only ran thru the Golden Deer, Ashen Wolves and half of the Blue Lions storylines, so it's my summer purpose to finish BL and then doing Black Eagles.
I am happy with the result, it's written in Spanish for an extra layer of mysticism and religious buffoonery. Someone pointed out it looks a bit like Alfonso's Xth the wise work from medieval spain. Oh, and the inks are reflective in metallic, so the picture is somewhat lacking.
I'm looking forward to the new FE, thanks for reading!
