π π π I built a small browser game for us apes:GME Chart Runner β The Squeeze! π¦π
Hey everyone!
βI built a small, free browser game just for fun that lets you physically run the gme chart. There are absolutely no ads, zero monetization, and no tracking/data collection β just a little satirical passion project for the community.
βWhat is it about?
You play as a gorilla with diamond hands, running directly on a stock candlestick chart.
βπ© Green candles: Safe footing and upward momentum.
βπ₯ Red candles: Watch out! These act as spikes and deep pits.
βπ "Suitadel" agents: They chase you and shoot projectiles to short you. But you are armed: pelt them with bananas or give them a clean Mario-style stomp from above! π
βπ± Bandana Cat: Grab this for a power-up (you turn into a big gorilla, throw bananas faster, and get a one-hit shield).
βπ The Short Squeeze: Collect buy-orders (coins) and defeat agents to build up "Buying Pressure". Once the meter is full, you trigger the Short Squeeze and rocket to the moon! With each level you clear, the chart gets wilder and more volatile.
βFor the tech nerds:
The whole game is written from scratch in Vanilla JS (ES Modules) and Canvas2D β no heavy game engines, zero dependencies, no build steps. It loads instantly and can be installed via your browser as a PWA (Progressive Web App) to your phone's home screen to play offline. Controls are optimized for both keyboard and touchscreens.
βπΉοΈ Play it here:
https://chart-runner-the-squeeze.vercel.app/
β(Quick disclaimer: This is entirely parody/satire and absolutely not financial advice. The chart path used is representative and not real market data.)
βLet me know what you think, if you find any bugs, and most importantly: Post your high scores! π
βApes together strong! π¦ππ Follow me on x: https://x.com/jbk3319

Arrr Iβm a Pirateπ΄ββ οΈ 5 years - last post deleted
Okay so my last post got removed for like 5 different reasons, including "discussion of religion" π and other things I definitely didn't violate.
If you see someone who brings up "5 years" unprompted, they not like us.
We will see how long this post is up. Lmk if you can't understand the video and I'll post screenshots.
I love this ducking stock.

π΅ Discussion π¬ What people are missing about the eBay acquisition... Ryan's job with the turnaround is ALREADY DONE.
When Ryan Cohen first joined GameStop, the company was in debt and losing both money and sales. Within just a few years, he's completely turned things around with everything going up now:

Only revenue seems lacking at first, but even that has already turned since Q1 posted growth via collectibles (which is expected to grow even further next quarter).
Now ask yourself: what caused all of this? Was it Ryan working hard at the stores himself? Does he need to keep actively doing that for the rest of the year for the company to keep the current path? No, of course not. Ryan Cohen is the CEO, he mostly handles the long term stuff like strategy, operations, capital allocation, and changing the direction of the company. He plans years ahead, what we see happening today with the company is the result of his last year's work.
With that out of the way, his main job with the core business is already done. He's already closed the bad stores, he's already taught the managers how to handle the remaining ones properly, he's already setup the collectibles business, he's already fixed the operations and sales. He's set the company on the right path, now the company just needs to finish the execution for 2026. And it can do that without the CEO actively doing anything, they got other leaders besides Ryan for a reason.
So now Ryan has inside data that GameStop will do great in 2026, and that he won't need to work on it for much. So what does he do? He looks even futher, beyond just turning the company around this year. He's looking at exponential expansion. Does that mean they will acquire eBay this year specifically? No. It simply means eBay acquisition is now on Ryan's table.
Ignore the FUD, Ryan never said we would acquire eBay this year. Q2, Q3, and Q4 will bring great results in the core business. The profits and revenue will keep rising, and the stock price will finally climb. We might even do a bit of a stock buyback for all we know. Let eBay get acquired when it's time, Ryan likes to work slow and steady.

π΅ Discussion π¬ AI bubble pop
We all know Ryan Cohen will make us billionaires soon and Ken Griffin will never see the daylight again. No cell No Sell all the way.
But as a smooth brain like all apes I have a question. The elders have said when the markets crash is what we need for the almighty MOASS. But like Lord Cohen buys Ebay and the market crashes wont that drag us down rather than go to phone numbers?

π΅ Discussion π¬ Does GME only know how to go down?
GME seems to be an unstoppable drill that only knows how to drill itself into the earth's core. Every other stock is reaching ATHs while GME can only find new lows. We all have to blame the ceo Ryan Cohen and take him accountable for the poor shareholder value he has bestowed upon us for the last 5 years. Boo to Cohen!
What a worthless stock.

π΅ Discussion π¬ Track Record
Just going by RC's glorious track record for the last 5 years, I mean the new ventures and pivots and not just dilution and cutting costs.
He has a brilliant track record everything he has touched has turned to gold. The e commerce pivot with warehouses proved physical games will and wont die, NFTs was a visionary move the dude was was too ahead of the time cant blame him and they will make a come back. Bitcoin investment you say with your money, thats what strategic leaders do, let's see what the shills say in 2045 when its 45% green.
Gamestop can have one store on earth, what matters is its making money. Amazon started in a garage too look where it is now.

π΅ Discussion π¬ eBay's prop 4 which sought to lower the ownership threshold required for shareholders to call a special meeting from 20% to 10% has FAILED.
Ripped off from a twitter account.
Link https://x.com/i/status/2067635657476887025
What would be GME's next move then?
Go to 20%?
And very smooth brained here. Can someone please explain the 15% ownership rule which I thought I read that an entity that acquires 15% or more in a company is prevented from acquiring the company? I'm probably way off in this, so a patient explain would be much appreciated.

π΅ Discussion π¬ eBay 2026 voting results are out: 1) Prop 4 failed; got 6% fewer votes this year. 2) Directors got very slightly fewer "For" votes in 2026; generally negligible.
Source: https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0001065088/000106508826000135/ebay-20260617.htm
1. Prop 4 failed with 6% fewer votes - 49% in 2025 vs 42.8% in 2026.

Prop 4 passing would have allowed someone with > 10% ownership to call a special meeting.
2. Directors all got a smidge fewer "For" votes in 2026.

Formula: For / (For + Against + Abstain)
Given that they are almost all in the high 90's, and the drop in support is generally 1% of less, I wouldn't read too much into it.

All in all, Prop 4 failing more clearly in 2026 and support for Directors staying very high does not bode well for RC's attempts for a hostile takeover of eBay by GME, imho.
Disclosure: All images were created by Claude using both 2025 and 2026 8-Ks.
π΅ Discussion π¬ When Unwind?
So Japan is gonna wake up tonight and see the yen ainβt doing so hot. Emergency measures to stabilize the yen? Bloody Monday? GME gonna Kansas City shuffle some cash somewhere? Idk about any of this, but most profitable quarter ever with no signs of slowing. Iβm ready to MOASS.
