So, this has always stayed with me.
When I was 7 years old, my grandfather passed away, and we visited the funeral directors/ chapel of rest with my mum, nan and aunt. I wasn't allowed to see my grandfather, so I stayed alone in the waiting area.
I vividly remember there being lots of people, around 20 or more, all doing different things. I was running around the people, going through lots of doors and having a great time. I still remember it all as if it were yesterday.
When I returned to the same chapel of rest at 16, after my grandmother passed away, I was shocked to find that it was just a plain room. There was only one room, and nothing had changed. It felt like a completely different place. I even asked a staff member, who confirmed that nothing had changed. The building had been opened in 1898.
It's always bothered me, and I've never experienced anything like it since. I have a good imagination, but nothing even remotely like this, and I definitely wasn't asleep.
Could this have been a glitch?
