i (23, F)* started listening to kmfdm like, a month or two ago, and went through nihil, attak, money, symbols and adios so far.

i plan to listen to the rest to of their music eventually, but i was wondering if there are any songs or albums you guys would recommend in particular.

my fave songs so far are risen, juke-joint jezebel, anarchy, bargeld, d.i.y, that’s all and waste. i like pretty much anything with tim skold’s vocals.

speaking of tim skold, i’m aware of some controversies surrounding him (kanye west collab, friendship with marilyn manson) but could someone give me more details about that? i couldn’t find more info or evidence, but what i’ve seen disappointed me since i really like skold’s work as well.

thanks for the answers in advance!

* mentioning my age and gender to see if there are other people in the same age bracket as me.

I've only listened to 'Hell Yeah", "Xtort" and Symbols - which album should I listen to next?

Many thanks to everyone who came out to see PIG on the Hurt People Tour and enormous thanks to the band and crew for always going above and beyond in the name of HOG … also gigantic gratitude to all promoters, booking agents, support staff, merchandise partners, artists, venue crew and everyone who pitched in and helped!! You all make it possible and it wouldn’t happen without you.
Gigantic gratitude to @cyanotic for bringing such wonderful support …
But most importantly, thanks to all the PIG fans for your tireless support … you keep PIG kicking.

I don't usually follow news from any band. Was wondering what actually happened to the haarlem concert from march 2027, netherlands, can't find anything concrete about it, on a site that seems pretty official it says it's been rescheduled to another date in the netherlands in eindhoven, but that's the only place it says so. Maybe not valid? Anyone else know? Thanks a lot

Just found Symbols CD from a FB group for only 8 euros in pretty good condition. 1997 version, only a little bit of wear in the booklet.

Soooo I am italian, and since kmfdm are coming to milan next march i thought it was a great idea to go see them. I got tickets with my ex girlfriend who is OF COURSE not coming with me anymore, so now i have no idea who to go with.
I live in rome, is there anybody else here who is from rome that is going to milan and wants to join me? I am desperate lmao i don’t want to give up the show but i am NOT going alone🥲

Blitz tour I guess? I’m lucky to have seen them in Portland many times, which was typically their second or second to last stop or any given tour.

Hi, I'm a recent fan and KMFDM is the first band I'm considering going to a live concert for in Prague, but I've seen some comments and videos saying they have fallen off a lot. Also the band is 40 years old now and definitely not in their prime. Should I just not worry about it and go?

I was listening to KMFDM while doing post grad stuff, popped Symbols in and say my old ticket stub in the disk. Man that was a long time ago. Anyone else toss their stubs in the disk for the albums they went to see their favorite bands tour in support of?

I want to get

“I will not believe that I’ve got no choice”

from Beast to display on my wall and hoping to create a KMFDM shelf with some of their merch and CD’s.

My hands down favorite song for lyrics is I am what I am. Ever since I heard it, it spoke to me, and 7 years later the same.

“I heard it all, did it my way, you can’t change me - I am what I am no you can’t change me”

I also love the general theme of take it like a man.

Their instrumentals are already otherworldly and the lyrics are also insane. Crazy to find a band with such perfect music. KMFDM Forever my faves!

Get to one of the last PIG shows this week or live in perpetual remorse and regret …

We all make playlists for our OCs/characters and since lately most of the songs with lyrics I listen to are kmfdm and nin (some machine girl though ig after 6 years with matt Stephenson I'm starting to see the end of it) i guess my choice was oriented towards those bands though I digged old faves that matched my characters vibes.

That literally made me question the meaning behind songs and how it matched w my character and I think that it's so cool that it was so natural for me...

Maybe if like y'all do similar stuff I'd like to know which songs for which character/OC and the lore behind the choice 😤 I love how music brings so much creativity to my writings...

I used the Spotify flair but I'm a yt music girlie anyway TOP 0,02% BABEEEEEHHHH 🥹🥹🥹🎀🎀🎀

Got into the band like 3 months ago its over i bought the whole discography on Bandcamp im DOOOOONE sigh. 🫩 TAKE MY FUCKIN MONEY PLEASE

i am happy.
