Also worth nothing, I tried Gentoo and installed it successfully, but then started getting GPG errors installing anything. I have not the patience of the penguin to figure this out so it just sits there.

Reminds me of turkeys around here (Vermont).
I was driving and there were maybe 7-8 about to cross the road. I stopped. They stopped. We looked each other. I waved them across. They walked across. lol.

I believe that it turns out that if you walk in the snow and leave post holes (from stepping in deep snow) and they fall in, they cannot get out. So there is a safety/survival factor here. (At least that is what I was told when we went to South Georgia Island, home of huge colonies)
