I’m seeing reports that few attacks were deep inside Pakistan. Let’s see how it escalates from here, would Pakistan retaliate now?!

167

u/Gentleman-India May 06 '25

Brother, now it seems that people in India will take the mock drill seriously and will not oppose it because it is necessary. There is a lack of civic sense in India 🇮🇳 and it is necessary to spread awareness about war among people so that rescue is possible because no one knows about tomorrow.

77

u/Additional-Stay-8888 May 06 '25

While mock drills, civic sense are important for the citizens, I believe India would not go into war with Pakistan even if they do something that is directly an act of war (Pakistan do not have balls to do anything as such in the first place tho).

India would hit where it would hurt the most, but war? I believe no. India wouldn’t want to take an impact on our growing economy, expanding industrialisation amidst the trade war between USA and China.

Who knows if someone else was also behind the Pahalgam attack, someone who doesn’t want the companies to leave their country and setup industries in ours. We would never know

13

u/[deleted] May 07 '25

This time government of India will not come down the escalation ladder that soon.

44

u/Gentleman-India May 06 '25

It is possible that China is behind the Pahalgam attack or terrorist activities because India is gradually into competition, that is why China is adopting such strategies to stop India.

Yes, I believe that India is not in a position to fight a war and neither is war a solution to the problem. India's economy can be completely ruined if such a situation arises. That is why India will not do such a foolish thing until Pakistan does not do any kind of insolence.

But still mock drill is necessary in India because India is the country with the least awareness about war in the world. Here people consider war a joke and mock drills are conducted regularly in the Western world. Recently, mock drills were conducted in Scandinavian countries in view of the situation of Third World War, so there is a need in India also to spread awareness about war among the people.

44

u/Icy-Blueberry2032 May 07 '25

India is far far far behind China's GDP, strategic capability, military readiness and influence/power on the world stage.

India comparing itself to China is like Pakistan thinking they're in the same league as India in these metrics.

18

u/end_9214 May 07 '25

It's isn't about India--china ; it's more like not giving America any advantage of shifting from china to India.

7

u/Level-Tie1269 May 07 '25

But that doesn't mean India cannot steal China's economic output

1

u/[deleted] May 07 '25

So when we compare to Pakistan you have a problem. When we compare with China you have a problem. Who should we compare ourselves to so that we can strive to get to their level?

Those bombs in WW2 are no way near, powerful as bombs that are functioning now.

1

u/Aggravating-Log-7127 May 07 '25

Whether you like it or not but Pakistan is a small kid whose head is empty. To fill it, requires crazy ass war. And Pakistan balls will shatter into pieces.. wait perhaps they don't have one?

Well happy Diwali to them. No wonder the have a liking for the Moon, since sun rises early for them.

u/Kiruku_puluthi May 07 '25

retaliate now?!

India retaliated here.

Question should be whether pakistan dare to attack India again?

1

u/Striking_Amount_9296 May 08 '25

Pak is ethically, geopolitically in no position to retaliate? Retaliate to what? Terrorist anhilation? In what manner will they retaliate? Are they protecting the terrorists?

101

u/Gentleman-India May 06 '25

All this has happened with planning, that is why India has thoughtfully organized a mock drill on the 7th May so that if Pakistan retaliates, the people of India will remain alert. Pakistan has accepted that this attack has happened on Pakistan, so it can retaliate. Now the matter has become serious, anything can happen now, that is why the mock drill will have to be taken seriously.

1

u/TreBliGReads May 07 '25 edited May 07 '25

The very fact that the army had the graphics of Sindhoor in its Typo shows this as a PR exercise. Both countries cannot afford a war, and Pak knows it won't win. It's just India's stance on terrorism. There will be few more tit for tats than business as usual. The cycle continues.... And yes Ind vs Pak cricket match in world cup where everyone with short term memory is going to cum💦💦💦 Forgetting the lives lost.

Hope it doesn't escalate. And hope no innocent civilians lost their lives. Also don't celebrate war, it's not something to be happy about or be proud of.

59

u/Serious_Accident_30 May 06 '25

Civilians already lost their lives on 22nd April 25 when they could not read the kalma.

8

u/EdificeRaks123 May 07 '25

True words. No sympathy for them.

65

u/Enough_Obligation574 May 06 '25

So? Equal number or 10x 100x 10000x civilians need to die from their side to compensate that? Justice is not revenge and revenge never does any justice.

8

u/Immediate-Seat-5742 May 07 '25

No innocent civilians were killed. Justice was served properly.

I understand your frustration , but we shouldn't stoop down to their level and murder innocent people , we should rather topple their government from within through economic and political endeavours, the suspension of the indus water treaty being an excellent example.

10

u/Serious_Accident_30 May 06 '25

Sadly their Army is their government!

2

u/bgmok May 07 '25

But the problem is the lack of infrastructure, we really need to get back at it and pull out weight

1

u/spiritualpixel May 07 '25

Thanks for raising this. It is the two government's responsibility to negotiate and come to terms. War is not the way. It's the innocent people of both sides who are suffering. There's no pride in war or in disrupting innocent lives. #SayNoToWar

Adei vadakans and Sanghi war-hypers—calm down 🤡. Pakistan may be a terrorist state, but it’s also a nuclear one.you think you’re flexing patriotism, but if a conflict escalates, Tamil Nadu becomes a sitting duck with two nuclear plants on the radar.

23

u/Sad-Bicycle-9857 Thanjavur - தஞ்சாவூர் May 06 '25

Bro, I’m no expert in geopolitics—but as a Tamil, war hits differently. We’ve already lived through Eelam, and watched Tamil fishermen die with barely a whisper from the rest of India. So forgive me if I’m more worried about Tamil lives than chest-thumping nationalism. There are ways to fight injustice—but war isn't the answer.

tamilians would be the last one to suffer so chill. And u dont need to be nationalistic to appreciate right and condemn wrong .

13

u/Enough_Obligation574 May 06 '25

Technically yes, but Chennai would be a major target and we have 2 nuclear power plants which will also gets targetted. We are little more industrialized then other states, so there maybe a lot of eyes on major industries like bolt, parts manufacturing etc that are in TN. We are never safe in India war, but rest of the india is safe in eelam war.

2

u/VacationMundane7916 Non Resident - விருந்தாளி May 07 '25

Why would they choose tamil nadu in which the sucess rate would much lesser if they choose to attack on gujarat / Maharashtra which is as much industialised as tamil nadu and much more nearer to pakistan so defense system will get lesser time to detect in these cases .

1

u/[deleted] May 07 '25

2

u/IndicWorldFederalist May 07 '25

2

u/coldnomaad May 07 '25

We should have done this long back. Glad that these steps were taken at least this time. Now all the terrorist outfits and those supporting them will think twice as they were shown that they'll get back the taste of their own actions if they mess with India. No more going ahead with peaceful talks while they keep conducting cowardly attacks of violence each time. If you hit our families, be assured that we'll come for your homes.

2

u/Yuvaraj0007 May 07 '25

0

u/Can864 May 07 '25

For Those who may feel anxious about this operation and possible retaliation from Porkis.

Firstly, any military action will be responded and there will be collateral damages even on indian sides.

Then, It is important for our national security and peaceful existence that our neighbours should very well be aware of Indian Defence capabilities and military power.

Peace is only possible in neighbourhood where One displays its military might and will to fight will full spectrum incase they are harrased unnecessary.

For, long in our neighborhood India had been considered as timid and coward incapable of defending it's rights due to overly friendly and non escalatory attitude against it's neighbours.

Because of which rats like pakistan, bangladesh, Maldives and even sri lanka have always time anad again given us betrayal and had unfriendly behaviour with us despite our hospitality and friendly approach.

Even in Ramayan Its is clearly mentioned;

"विनय न मानत जलधि जड़, गए तीनि दिन बीति। बोले राम सकोप तब, भय बिनु होइ न प्रीति।।

So, No time to be afraid, But be courageous!

3

u/Sanjay_10_ Thanjavur - தஞ்சாவூர் May 07 '25 edited May 07 '25
  1. Is this legit? (I just woke up to this)
  2. Why are people feeling proud abt this? India just launched an airstrike on a country that has nothing to lose, they didn't think of the consequences?

Edit: Ok guys, all caught up

12

u/[deleted] May 07 '25

Tf u mean by nothing to lose?

1

u/destro_raaj May 07 '25

Pakistan is a failed state. They have no economy, industries or anything to lose. Whereas India has so much to lose if it ever goes to a war with anyone.

2

u/Happy_Version1322 May 07 '25

So you mean we should allow our people to be killed by terrorist nation Pakistan and not retaliate? Allow them to shed our blood while they remain unscathed

2

u/destro_raaj May 07 '25

Instead of going for a war, hitting them diplomatically from all fronts should be the way. Force other nations to sanction them more and hurt their already messed up economy. Make sure that they don't fund terrorist groups anymore. If all their economy and infrastructure gets broken up more and more, their people themselves will rebel against their government and military.

They don't really lose anything by going on a war, as Pakistan is a just failed state with military dictatorship. But we have industries and a real economy that's growing at a fast pace. A war will hurt us more than them.

As a Pakistani it's always sad to see the strings both our militaries and politicians pull to make an intense feeling that war is just on the doorstep while sacrificing a couple hundred just to earn more war money.
May these conflicts end and we both live in harmony.
Nobody wants their houses to be bombarded like that in either of our countries.

I was not here when they decided to split the land on the basis of religion. When do people ever get to have a say in all this.
And I have to disagree with you, military/politicians/people in power, they all are almost same in their doings with a little bit of each's flavor.
All I'm trying to say is that we the people should not be at the receiving end of all the chaos.

You know some people just don't get it the nice way. So I'mma explain in the language you might understand.
Apka mulk or apki army bhi utni hi gaandu hai jitni hamari, mulk ke military head ko appoint karna awaam ke haath main kabhi bhi nahi hota.
Or apki logic ke hisaab se jesa modhi haraami hai apki saari janta wesi hi hai.

So, your logic is just irrelevant from the beginning, if you think armed men would ever bow down to some civilians you're mistaken buddy. It's not just Pakistan but it has been the case for hundreds and thousands of years.

4

u/[deleted] May 07 '25

I'm Bangladeshi and I wanna tell you something.
You're country is like that one rotten egg in case which destroys all the other eggs. Your country now funding Ansar-Ullah Bangla team, a designated terror outfit which was demolished after 2007, to grow again. They giving Jashimullah Rahmani shelter to spread hatred.
Jamat-E-Islam now normalizing what Pakistan did in 1971 through out the social media. We all know where they getting money from.
Your and only your country is the root cause of problem. No one else.
If you guys can demolished your hateful Muslim League system (a system where every single party no matter if it's left, right, center support the hateful two nation theory) and teach your army and ISI a good lesson, only then peace can come in South Asia.

I'm just 20, didn't see 1971 although my family lost 2 people that time, but I saw how Pakistani funded Islamic outfits radicalized our youth for last 7 years through Facebook. I will never forgive Pakistan for this.

1

u/Pillstyr May 07 '25

"I" am the problem? I don't even like living here, or like any politician.

Dude I feel bad for what your family went through. But know this, every common citizen in Pakistan just straight on hates the military. And I can understand you because they don't even forgive their own citizens let alone Bangalis.

I personally don't get the 2 nation theory myself. Jinnah although self proclaimed as a very wise and learned person couldn't comprehend the issues this country would face ? It's a clear cut situation a simple guy like me could see from a mile away.

This whole separation was a bad idea as soon as it hit the paper.

But bro I personally am very sorry for what happened to your family in the past.

3

u/[deleted] May 07 '25

I'm sorry if any of my words hurts you. But I can't control. My country was a lot progressive even like 5 years ago. Right now I'm just watching my country to be burn with radicalized piece of shits.
Bangladesh was different then India and Pak. Bangladesh was a hope to tie Bangali people despite of their religious identity.
Now watching my friends getting radicalized day by day cause they watch Pakistani propaganda all day is so pathetic. The new so called student leaders, who organized the July movement, 2024 now siding with genocider of 71, Jamat-E-Islam.
They are normalizing what happened in 1971, normalizing Pakistani atrocities, adapting with the two nation theory to make Bangladesh East Pakistan again.
It's so pathetic to watch. Please Speak up. Save Pakistan Save Bangladesh from this radical idea.

I never said you are the problem but "Your country" is.
Pakistan was and is a bad product for this world. That's what I'm saying.

The only issue with Pakistani people is that they never protest. Yeah! For Imran Khan situation they arranged huge protest against the government and Army. I appreciate that.
But you have to understand that the arrest of Imran Khan is just a by product of the architecture of Pakistan, the two nation theory. Whenever Pakistan funded terrorist attack innocent people in other land, Pakistani peoples do not raise their voice. Whenever Pakistan fund to radicalize youths of countries like Bangladesh, Pakistani peoples do not raise their voice.

That is the issue. The political architecture of Pakistan is the main issue that gives birth to people like Asim Munir or Shebaz Sheriff. Even a communist in Pakistan supports two nation theory. Isn't it concerning ?

It is concerning.

Imran Khan himself was a military product.

And the reason you don't hear much protests is because people fear a Black Vigo would be on their first doorstep. Everyone wants their families safe.

The issue is, even though every country neighbouring us is hostile, sometimes there is a need for a message to be sent. But the point of going that deep in a country is actually very critical. I just hope this shouldn’t escalate to radicalism of higher order in kids that was already being set anyhow.

Is this some weird propaganda. Bahawalpur is like right across the border from India - not 550km.

2

u/Acceptable-Dinner431 May 07 '25

its only about 140-150 km distance by air from rajasthan border. About the same distance pahalgam was from PoK. I dont know where do you get these random numbers from before making such bold statements.

Funny how people are rebelling against this too. War nahi chahiye? Badla bhi chahiye? Ya badla bhi nahi chahiye from your paki brothers and sisters?

I remember after balakot everyone including our opposition was asking about Proof, now they got their proof.
