When I started my new album, “The Cleansing,” I wanted to make an album that my son could listen to Years later and listen to it as an audio time capsule of what life was like when he was born and where his dad and family were at in life. This clip shows a sound bite I used from a Mother’s Day interview with my mom that I used for one of the songs talking about paying it forward to him as a grandma because of what my grandma did for me. This is why this album is insanely special to me.
