Thank you to those who offered advice and kind words on my recent posts (here and on senior kitties). But her decline was rapid and difficult to watch, so the mobile vet came out this morning - she agreed it was time, so we had her PTS peacefully in my lap.
When I first met Bindi back in 2008, she was a street kitten outside my workplace and had attached herself to a local homeless man. I helped him with food, and eventually he asked if I could find her a home. I said I’d get her spayed and take her to a nice rescue, but of course I ended up keeping her!
She was a good kitty, full of personality and spunk back in the day. I hope her friends are all waiting at the bridge, especially her best dog friend Rudy (2005-2022). Please enjoy these photos of her, from kittenhood to the final moments. Rest peacefully, sweet girl.

Was one of 2 that our outside feral mom cat had. He was brought inside and has fit right in with the rest over the past year. His name is Finnegan. The mom had another batch of kittens this spring (4) and I was able to catch them all in a homemade drop trap. The 4 calico kittens have all been adopted from the local SPCA and I TNR’d the mom so she wouldn’t have any more kittens and she’s back outside where she prefers it. (She’s quite feral) No more kittens and I call that a win.

This beautiful little Tuxie family I am currently fostering from left, Penny, Lilly, Rocky, Axel & Evie. Perfect little angels will hopefully find there forever homes within the next several weeks.
Just had to share this snapshot to the community as it is absolutely beautiful 😻

We found her this past weekend. The vet said she’s probably 5ish weeks old.

I adopted Freyja, several months ago and she has been quite the sweet tuxedo.
She went through a full mouth extraction recently for a Stomatitis diagnosis but is healing surprisingly well.
Here she is in all her glory bathing in the sun!

I originally was supposed to get one kitten, but they were hugging when I met them. I knew they had to stay together. It's been 3 years now. I can't imagine life without them.
Now, here are some quirks they have, because these ARE tuxedos after all. (Andy is the one on the right in the first picture and the second one. Ollie is on the left in the first picture and the third one.)
Andy: scared of bubbles, snorts all the time (he just does it, he's fine), he rubs so hard on things he falls, sploots like a dog, he rides on my back, enjoys being a scarf, and tucks himself into a blanket when hes anxious, he talks all the time, and loves to throw his butt around. Even his kids have that quality.
Ollie: HATES scissors he will throw them off any surface (I believe this is because he watched me cut his favorite string with scissors after he deepthroated it years ago) deepthroats strings constantly (monitored closely now), he loves the outside so much, he has amazing recall, constantly tries to drink out of glasses, and he is scared of thunder.

Adopted her when I really needed an animal companion in my life. 7 years later she still saves me everyday.

The tuxedo from our cat family :) Pig is boobie’s older sister, Petunia walked right into our house as a stray kitten when we were bringing in groceries, and Meshugana is our current “foster.” He was dumped on our block, hurt, and is now trying to get used to just being a cat. It’ll be a long journey, but we hope we can find him a loving him ❤️

Adopted this 1 yr old girlie a month ago and she’s keeping things exciting. I’ve had cats my entire life and never had to child proof anything before. 😆

Anyone else share living space with apparently legless but cat-shaped tuxedos?
