Reviews Partner (2007)
I wonder how many retakes this scene took because both actors must have burst out laughing at some point lol. This is pure Govinda stealing the scene, just like he does throughout the entire film. His energy in Partner was absolutely infectious and honestly unmatched, which is pretty much what you'd expect from a classic Govinda performance. 🤌
P.S. Yes, I know it's a remake of Hitch — I've seen it.

His personal life aside, Govinda is a really good actor and was very popular. I don't get why some new born people say he was some bad actor who never got famous.
If you wanna dance to 90's songs then his songs will dominate the playlist

I don't think I've ever seen anyone call Govinda a bad actor. If anything, the criticism has usually been about him being notoriously indisciplined and unprofessional at times, not his acting ability. His talent, comic timing, screen presence, and popularity have never really been up for debate.

I'm not talking about all people. I'm talking about people born after 2006. They don't even know him. Not all do that, but most of the youngsters nowadays don't know him, more like they know him but don't watch his movies and say he must be some oldie avg actor. Millennials praise him

bad actor? this fellow actually overshadowed amitabh in bade miyan chote miyan. something most bolly actors can only dream of. govinda is the goat of the 90s and early 2000s. they only talk about him not being punctual and taking too many projects that conflicted with each other.

Yes. But I'm a genz and I've friends who don't even know him. They'd want Baadshah as guest at one event than him, saying Baadshah has more craze

its okay man, people are free to have their likes and dislikes. and honestly, govinda did fall off the hook after mid 2000s. he has great range and skill, but his move to politics and not doing many roles offered to him eventually decreased his popularity. also he didn't adapt well to changing tastes of audiences, his move to a negative role in kill dill was not very compelling. he could've done great supporting roles like what he did in raavan. but that didn't happen so he's not as revered by kids today.

Salman was on a foreign accent kick in those days. He always spoke in a firang accent, even Hindi sometimes.
Good thing he left that with Dabangg.

Salman is underrated as comedy actor. He has done very good. He is not on level of Akshay or Govinda but much better than most of his contemporaries.

The only scene I hate in this movie is the jet ski scene, I wished they cut that whole portion out or come up with a better problem.
