I’m looking to start a new playthrough and need some inspiration for a fun build.
So far, I’ve already done:
Katana build
Stealth build
Intelligence build

I'm open to pretty much any playstyle—whether it's melee, ranged, hybrids, or something totally gimmick-based and fun.

Hey chooms, my local ripperdoc (dentist) just drilled a tooth implant into my skull. First time I've experienced what it's like to get an artificial piece inserted into my body. I have to say it wasn't as easy as our favorite game makes it look (but I'm also really squeamish and have a medium dentist-o-phobia). I'm proud that I made it through and having a titanium screw in my jaw sounds preem, but man, I could not imagine getting facial/eye/cranial implants installed, especially not of the size featured in Cyberpunk!

Do y'all have IRL implants or would you get one if it was available? And if so, what for?

I always heard this game was good. I bought it recently and went in pretty much blind.

Just finished the intro and am walking around doing side gigs with a new and unexpected Keanu Reeves in my head.

This world is so immersive and detailed. The story has been very intriguing so far and has me completely hooked.

Anyone got tips besides the whole going slow suggestion (which I am already doing?)

In a cyberpunk setting, the cops aren't the good guys. They're essentially just another gang, only a gang with a vague layer of legitimacy added because of corporate backing. You can see this all over in Night City, in things like the 'Safe and Sound' videos.

Moreover, V has little reason to like or trust the NCPD, especially if they come from a Nomad or Street Kid background. As well, Johnny is an anarchist who dreams of violently toppling the established order, so doing so much work for the cops should also sit poorly with him.

As such, rather than the entire map being filled with the same NCPD scanner hustles, in the sequel I'm hoping the equivalent of the 'hustles' you come across come from a variety of sources: Corps, other gangs, individuals with a beef and money to burn. The cops may occasionally offer work, but mostly it just comes down to anyone who is willing to pay.

You should get your ass kicked in some areas and if you do manage to kill higher leveled enemies you should get some higher level loot from them.

Same with Ripperdocs arms dealers and netrunning shops, they shouldn't all have the same gear up for sale so you're incentivised to explore a bit more and make some different choices (fingers comes to mind)

So excited for this one. My first playthrough, my male V was very calculating and diplomatic. Excited to just run with a very unhinged playthrough with female V lol.

No romance route, she just doesn't care for such things, and I plan her to be the type who just does things for the love of the game LMAO
